I mistakenly booked a room there intending to reserve on another property. I went to the front desk within a couple of hours after booking and told the attendant that I would not need the reservation. The attendant told me she could not help me and that I would be charged for the room, regardless. Expedia was also not help and does not seem to care about the experience of their customers.

Great stay for a great price

Ms. Donna was so helpful and very friendly. Everyone we encountered that worked there was very nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay, and we will stay again when we go back to the area. The price was perfect for my budget and the accommodations were just right. It was a little noisy at night with the trucks going by, but that can be expected since it is right off a main road.

When we checked in there was no power because of the hurricane. They were amazingly accommodating and friendly. Made Th e best of a bad situation.

One of the beds made a big noise like there was something broke underneath and the heater sounded like a lawn mower idling when it came on. Otherwise the room was very nice and it smelled clean.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. I was traveling within NC, and I needed a place to stay on Friday night. Marion area motels were cheaper than those in the Asheville area. I have stayed in Marion before and I liked it. Desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Everything (TV, bed, shower, etc.) worked fine. I would stay there again.

Too much road noise

Don't understand why other reviewers said this place was quiet. It is definitely not. The noise from the road and other patrons' vehicles is terrible. We got very little sleep because the traffic is so loud.

One and done

The guy checking us in was very nice. Both ice machines were down. After a long day of walking and site seeing, I couldn't wait to take a long hot shower but not only was the water hardly even lukewarm there were a handful of long black public hairs in the tub. The bed was very hard. May be good for some people but I didn't sleep well at all. Thankfully we only stayed 1 night.

The room needed repairs to the clothes hanging unit. It was out of the wall and hard to hang clothes when it is hanging off the wall. There was not enough coffee and tea bags to use for the day in and the next morning. No phone, no clock... Quality of towels were poor

The person at the desk was nice but the property was not in great shape. There was a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door....that's to the outside :( . Bathroom was ok but the floors were pretty dirty.....we walked around in bare feet at first and got filthy. The entrance areas were all messed up....HUGE holes and dangerous. Unfortunately a BMW M3 was robbed overnight and cops had to come investigate. I was offered a refund and could look for another place to stay but there was absolutely nothing in the area because of festival. Staff was nice for the most part.

From the time we went to check in it was the worse experience for me. The staff/owner were the rudest people and had no respect for us nor cared to try we get to room and its dirty i cleaned the floors and tub so my kids could take a bath then get charged for soiled towels...mind you soiled from cleaning their room that should have been clean for us. We left the next day and they decide not to refund our money for the room either because we were late checking out, yes by 30min when we were gonna stay but because we had such a bad experience we said nope not another night, any other hotel ive ever stayed at usual gives u a little more grace then 11 and thats that. Honestly i never hated hotels until we stayed there and now id question staying at another one it was all around worse time ever for my family and I highly recommend trying a different location if possible
