“I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed...

“Great, modern hotel. Favreau room and location. Right in the heart of the Old Town. Check in and keys are all online via an app. First time, I use a staff less hotel but it was all very smooth. Highly recommended”

“Smart and stylish. Lovely bathroom. Traditional English breakfast overlooking the beach.”

“Great value traditional B&B. Spotless room and comfy bed. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was decent - fresh coffee was amazing! Have already booked another stay!”

“Birchington-on-Sea is a small seaside town with a pleasant beach at Minnis Bay overlooking the Thames Estuary and the Reculver Towers further up the coast where the bouncing bombs were tested. There are a number of buildings from the interwar period or inspired by them but the jewel in the crown is the Twentieth Century Bed and Breakfast. “The room was very nice, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good and the parking was easy”

“Clean room and breakfast”

“We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”

“Lovely, comfortable stay. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.”

“todo muy bien excepto que no hay muchas posibilidades de transporte público ”

“Check-in process at the Pub opposite the accommodation block was easy and straightforward. The staff were really friendly. The location was good - really close to a shopping centre if that's your thing.”

“The house was nice and tidy, but a sort of curtain for the skylight in the second bedroom would be good. There was a bit of a problem with the parking. We parked backwards and because of the little ramp, the bottom of the car touched the ground. It wasn't damaged, but still. Otherwise this was a good stay.”
