Nice rooms — but the Junior Room is really quite small. Good to know before booking: you can upgrade to a larger room for a small additional fee.
The architecture is full of stone arches and niches, almost like staying in a cave, yet everything is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are helpful and welcoming.
The only downside is the parking area, which is about an 8–10 minute walk from Kaia, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up and down.
Overall, we had a lovely experience at Kaia and in Mardin.
