“I don’t know what has happened to this hotel but i would avoid it all costs Very shabby and run down , our room had a really unpleasant smell , the door plates as you enter the hotel were filthy overall very disappointed - and definitely overpriced”

“really friendly and accommodating staff. our only issue with our stay was that owing to very hot weather we needed to sleep with the window open to allow cool air to come in off the river. this meant being woken up super early by traffic”

“We try and come here every year, the staff of both the hotel and the spa are lovely. The place is a little tired but that only adds to its charm.
First time we’ve been charged for robes which has never happened before (they’re usually provided in the room). We were quite surprised given we’d already spent a considerable amount on spa treatments and the weekend break itself.”
