Staff asked if I had any complaints. I usually ALWAYS have a least one thing to complain about. But, with this place I really couldn't think of one thing that I didn't like. I took me a good 2 minutes to come up with at least one thing that I didn't like. And, that was their chocolate cake. So, out of everything if the only thing I won't like about my stay is the chocolate cake... then I am really staying at a 5 star. We really enjoyed our 9 night stay at the Fuerte, staff were very nice (a special thank you to Georges for being so kind and helpful to us), we were always made to feel welcome, from the restaurant staff to the attendants at the front door. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel is very conveniently located. The only let down was the beach in front of the hotel, once you are in the water, the ocean floor has large rocks that make it a real challenge. There was also a lot of seaweed the week we were there, I know it’s not something the hotel can control, but it was a damper on our otherwise great week.

Terrific hotel

Fabulous upgrade since last I stayed there. Cannot fault hotel or staff who were most helpful and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Only downside of our stay was the weather Will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel . We had a wonderful stay. Staff excellent and reception highly efficient . Great food available for lunch and the breakfast buffet is fabulous with everything you could possibly want .Need to be careful regarding room choice / allocation as some rooms look away from the property with a disappointing view of neighbouring apartments and waste area . Also some partial sea view room have a huge tree mostly blocking the wonderful view . My room was quickly swapped to a fantastic alternative with minimal inconvenience. I would highly recommend this hotel - also 5 minute walk to the Old Town which is very convenient .

Amazing hotel

Amazing hotel in fantastic location / staff were exceptionally kind and helpful - quality spa, restaurant, roof top bar and loved the 2 pools with jacuzzi! It’s a must see and my first trip to Marbella ~ will be returning soon..

A beautiful modern beachfront hotel just a 5 min stroll away from Marbella old town. Minor hiccups: at check in they said we’d have complimentary daily half liter water, the next day they said this was just a one off for the first day, then the day after they changed that again. The breakfast buffet is great, but the ham they call “iberico de bellota” is clearly “Serrano” (much cheaper) instead, based on color, texture, lack of marbling, flavor etc

This is a great resort. We stayed 3 nights. We booked a Junior Suite with frontal ocean view and it was totally worth the price. We had a large balcony with its own jacuzzi and a very spacious room with very comfortable bed. Everything at this resort is to notch. The included breakfast was also fabulous and it was served in an indoor/outdoor setting with views of the beach. It was the perfect relaxing way to start each morning.

This hotel is the best in Marbella! From the second we arrived to the second we checked out, our experience was second to none. This is a true 5 star hotel and is truly exquisite. Very nice hotel location across from the beach, testaments and shops. Several nice pools in hotel. An easy access to beach across the street from hotel and private hotek beach section w food and beverage service. Nice ocean view from room, bathroom could use some update/ upkeep. Fantastic beach hotel in the center of Marbella

The Hotel offers an excelent service, they have lots of sun beds, outside sitting area for dining, drinking and snakes, they have outdoor heated swimming pool, the have fantastic breakfast with lots of smiling and service minded staff, the hotel is situated right at the walking promenade with lots of shops and restaurants, and just a few minutes walk from the old city with lot of atmosphere. The hotel beach restaurant serves excellent food right on the beach. I can recommend this hotel. I stayed in many hotels around the world and this one is value for money in my opinion.
