This funky little motel near the beach is clean, comfortable and fun, with a turntable and record to spin. Loved our stay. Don’t tell anyone, but Manzanita is a gem!

This is a basic motel type set up. We had our dog with us and they were very welcoming. They even supplied a doggie welcome basket of towel, large sheet, water bowl, waste bags & dog treats. This was very much appreciated! The kitchenette was a small fridge, microwave & electric kettle. Coffee & good quality teabags were provided. Water was available only from the bathroom sink. Curiously, there was were only 2 ceramic cups & 2 water glasses…no plates or cutlery. We did get a few paper plates from the front desk upon request. Our suggestion would be for the hotel to supply paper plates and plastic cutlery since there is no washing up area. The staff is wonderful and the crepes from the restaurant were delicious! We would stay here again when traveling with our pup. It is just one block from the ocean and near restaurants and a small grocery store.

It’s great location. I get what they are trying to do for renovations- but it was still dirty and old- they put a coat of paint on and tried to jazz it up. Cute, but no space to put toiletries, or really anything. The bed was very hard- and the room was claustrophobic.

No A/C, no pool, no spa, no breakfast, no lobby coffee or snacks, weird coffee in room, no view, hard to make room dark, no garden or lawn, weird very low bed, fan but not in bed area. Nice general location an quiet. Wildly over priced "remodeled" old motel.

We truly enjoyed our stay and the convenience that all rooms are ground level. Everything was clean and in good condition! The bed, sofa bed, and pillows were comfortable and clean! Our room decor was simple but clean - and very cool modern style. We were impressed with the size of our room, and the amenities made it even more pleasurable. We brought our small Keurig machine, though, since we like having a few cups of our favorite coffee. There is a bakery and coffee shop around the corner that has great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. We will definitely stay here again. =)
