Nicer place but not soundproof

The place it's really nice and the rooms as well, nicely equipped and big. The only negative issue was that you could hear absolutely everything from the nearby room. Breakfast was a bit meager (one slice of bread with ham and tomatoes or with butter and marmalade), a small glass of orange juice, and one coffee.

I think there were maybe 6 rooms total. It was a very cool set of rooms in a castle. Wouldn’t be appropriate for people with physical disabilities or the very old because bedroom was upstairs and bathroom downstairs. We loved the unique style.

El castillo es maravilloso, el como pensaron transformar los espacios en habitaciones sencillas, a la vez modernas y acogedoras esta genial. La habitación estaba calentura cuando llegamos, dormimos muy bien, los muebles son sencillos pero bonitos y de buena calidad. Me gustó mucho la cama de arriba, el tacto de las sábanas, el lavabo de madera a juego con la mesita debajo de la tele. La iluminación es difusa, simulando justo la iluminación de un castillo. Fueron combinando muy bien lo medieval con lo moderno y práctico. El personal encantador y el desayuno una delicia 😊 zumo de naranja natural, buen café y unas tostadas gigantes hechas con pan casero. Si volvemos a pasar por Manzanares, sin duda nos volveremos a quedar allí.

Beautiful stay in a historic castle! The spacious, well-equipped rooms were cozy and full of charm. The on-site bar and restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Perfect mix of history, comfort, and relaxation—highly recommend!

A unique and cozy castle experience

It was a unique experience staying in a refurbished castle. Being that it was chilly outside, it was nice to have a nice cozy room to in which to relax. We were a little disappointed that the main dining room was closed due to heating issues, but we enjoyed a tasty meal if Spanish specialties in the bar area.

Muy bonito pero no cumple con lo que indica

El castillo es bonito y es un espacio singular pero tuvimos un problema que puede parecer pequeño pero que para nosotros fue muy importante: veníamos después de muchas horas en coche en plena ola de calor con niños pequeños y aunque el check-in es a las 12h nuestra habitación no estuvo lista hasta después de las 13.30h. Lo único que nos dijeron fue que unos clientes salieron tarde y que podíamos dejar las maletas allí mientras tanto. Entiendo que de la misma manera que yo como cliente no puedo estar después del horario del check-out, el hotel (aun más uno como este) tiene la obligación de tenerlo preparado a la hora acordada. O algún tipo de compensación, pero no nos han ofrecido ni agua (teniendo ellos bar y restaurante). Decepcionante. Aparte de esto comentar también que la ducha no es cómoda, no puedes estar con las dos manos libres mientras la usas y además como no tiene puerta se moja parte del baño.
