Vacations Close To Manuka State Wayside Park

The room that we had was modified, presumably by the owner. Entry was through doors with opposite hinges. A left handed screen door and a right handed keyed entry made it difficult to access the room with luggage. The keyed door opens to the kitchenette, with an inch of swing to spare, effectively blocking entry to the main space. The mirror wall and closet doors were exceptionally clean. The table and chairs on the lanai however, were salty and dusty upon arrival. The air conditioning was an older, loud model, which droned out the sounds of loud cars passing by. There are supposedly 50 parking spaces for 150 units, good luck parking on site after dinner. Staff was available by phone during check-in hours and showed up promptly.

Great location, quiet. Unit pretty dark and very dated looking. Had all the amenities I needed.

Our stay at Gingerhill Farm in Hawaii was a truly unique experience and the perfect retreat. The outdoor shower and open-air kitchen were absolute highlights—they made us feel immersed in the beautiful surroundings while still having everything we needed. The property is filled with lush gardens, blooming ginger, and vibrant tropical plants that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved spotting the friendly geckos throughout the property, which added to the authentic island experience. A wonderful bonus was discovering the beautiful artwork by Mayumi Oda displayed throughout the property. Her vibrant, nature-inspired prints complemented the peaceful setting perfectly and added another layer of inspiration to our stay. If you appreciate nature, tranquility, and a one-of-a-kind place to stay, Gingerhill Farm is a wonderful choice!

Wonderful property and staff! They go over and beyond 5 star

The staff was great, the security and the morning building maintenance guy are awesome. Took care of our car and maintenance guy keeped the place up looking great. I would definitely come back to this building if I return to the Kona side. What i didn't like were the bugs that are all over the place. Specially at night. Other than that. Our experience was awesome.
