Hotel was quiet, quaint and completely relaxing. The breakfast was astounding. The vibe of the place is very welcoming, non-judgmental, and comfortable which is so important in a clothing optional establishment. It was perfect to lay by the pool, soak in the Costa Rican sun, and enjoy the waterfall pool and hot tub. Wildlife here was amazing...and came to us: we saw three sloths, iguanas, macaws, toucans, and squirrel monkeys! Better than a paid tour - at our doorsteps. Stephen & Gato were awesome!

Stephan was fabulous ! Made us feel like family, made the most amazing breakfast. The resort is quaint and cute and very comfortable in the room was so clean. Macaws and monkey visits daily! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!!!!

We stay 8 nights at Oasis. Everything was wonderful room, pool, hot tub. Stephen was very helpful, if you want do any tours ask him. He gave us his company for water rufting and it was a blast. The best experience we had at Quepos Costa Rica. Thank you Stephen , we will for sure back

Our recent stay at the Oasis Adult Retreat was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the property. Lush greenery enveloped the grounds, creating a truly peaceful and natural setting that felt wonderfully secluded. The treehouse views were a delightful touch, offering a unique perspective of the stunning surroundings with wildlife visits from monkeys to Scarlet Macaws. What truly set this experience apart was the welcoming and affirming atmosphere of this LGBTQ+ friendly hotel. It felt incredibly comfortable and liberating to relax and be ourselves in such an inclusive space. The hotel's amenities were also fantastic. The pool offered a refreshing escape, and the hot tub was an absolute highlight. Soaking in the warm water at night, surrounded by the beautifully lit property and the enchanting sounds of the rainforest, was an unforgettable experience. Beyond the hotel itself, the location is incredibly convenient. Manuel Antonio National Park, with its breathtaking beaches and diverse wildlife, is just a 12 minute drive. I also appreciated the easy access to a wide array of delicious dining options, unique shopping experiences, and exciting tour activities. Everything I wanted to explore was within easy reach. I wholeheartedly recommend the Oasis Adult Retreat and extend a special thank you to Stephen and his dedicated staff. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made this a one-of-a-kind experience.

We were surprised by this hotel. Very convenient. The owner and staff are very attentive to your needs and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they even offered us to store our luggage after the checkout so we could go to the beach. We definitely recommend it.

I wasn't sure what to expect with at Oasis Adult Retreat but it definitely blew my expectations out of the water. The atmosphere is amazing and the owner went out of his way to make my trip fabulous. It also attracts a very cool collection of guests which are lovely to interact with. Highly recommend booking here.

Excellent hotel. Small number of well kept rooms in a hillside setting surrounded by jungle - with monkeys and macaws ro be seen. Staff are wonderful and attentive. Very social and inclusive. No hesitation in advising travellers, single, coupled or in groups to stay.

Very Friendly and Nice Place

Stephan was super nice and accommodating to our various needs. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. While we didn't realize in advance it was a LGBTQ+ friendly and clothing optional place, it did not impact our stay. In fact, we appreciated the relaxed and non-judgmental environment. (We choose it based on location and price.)

What an amazing and welcoming place to stay when visiting Manuel Antonio. Stephan is a great host and creates such a welcoming environment for a diverse crowd to really just relax and take in all the nature around you. I really felt like I was just visiting a friend and could be myself. Nice clean rooms, nature all around you, pool and hot tub, an amazing breakfast every day the list goes on. The whole place is surrounded by trees and so full of nature, just off the main road but a literal oasis once you enter the gate of the secured parking lot. Couldn't recommend this place enough and can't wait to visit again soon! Thank you Stephan, always a pleasure to find, support and enjoy an LGBT owned and operated establishment that is truly welcoming to anyone!

This was one of the most unique properties we have ever experienced! We stayed in the TreeHouse, so there were many stairs, which we did not mind. (There were other options with fewer stairs.) The view of the property from up there was wonderful. The plants, the privacy and the comfort were next to none. While staying, we hired Todd, a local massage therapist, to provide us each with a 60-min massage. FABULOUS! Then there is Stephen! The owner and chef. Breakfast was amazing! Try the french toast! So good! We enjoyed the small pool and hot tub. This place is truly a hidden gem.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Oasis. Do not let the name scare you. This place was amazing. Stephen and his staff are so friendly. They will make your stay so enjoyable no matter who you are. Breakfast is five stars, So delicious!! Everything from the room to the pool and the grounds are impeccably clean and maintained. We stayed in the treehouse, and it was like a small apartment. Very updated and the beds were very comfortable. We had monkeys in the morning, along with macaws. We also spotted a sloth a couple of days. There is easy access to Quepos, Manual Antonio and the beaches. It is fairly close to everything. I definitely recommend the Rainmaker Waterfalls and sunsets on the beach. We will stay here again when we return to Costa Rica. Thanks, Stephen, for your wonderful hospitality. I had an amazing time with my boyfriend for six nights in July. The host was extremely attentive, both before my stay and during. Despite summer being rainy season, the property is still great because many of the areas are covered, creating a beautiful green and relaxing environment when it rains in the evenings. We stayed in the treehouse, which was great because we were surrounded by trees and could hear insects, monkeys and birds. Included breakfast was a great benefit. We tried most of the options and they were all delicious. When we had early tours, we were even able to put in our orders the night before so we could get out the door more quickly. The atmosphere of the hotel is very chill. It was very easy to meet new people in the jacuzzi or hang out with the owner. We had a busy schedule with tours, but it would've been a good idea for us just to have a day or two just relaxing and doing nothing on the property. The property is very close to the main Quepos-Manuel Antonio bus line, which goes every 15 minutes. Taxis are easy to call/Whatsapp as well. So you don't really need a car unless you want to drive out of town a lot without a tour.

Great location, Great friendly welcome and Service

My wife and I booked a two night stay here with our 32 yr old son as we toured through Costa Rica. A warm friendly welcome by Stephan on our arrival and was greeted with an upgrade. The hot tub is nice and relaxing after a hard days slog sight seeing and although we didn’t make it to the pool (we thought the hot tub was the pool, it’s that big) it looked very inviting. Having read some reviews previously we asked Stephan to cook for us, he normally asks for 48 hours notice but kindly agreed to cook for us…. And OMG he can cook, of course he’s a professional chef by trade and it reflects in what he served us, Heaven in three wonderful plates of food…. And two courses I personally would never have chosen, ever, but I enjoyed every mouthful. Breakfast too… Breakfast was Yummy!! Well located for Manuel Antonio national park…. Buy tickets online the day before and take a solid flask of water/juice with you as you can’t take plastic bottles into the park….. neither can you smoke, cigarettes will also be binned.

Really enjoyed my time at Oasis Adult Retreat. I knew, when booking, that the hotel was clothing optional; this was never uncomfortable or made awkward the entire length of our stay.The owner, Stephan, very quickly makes you feel at ease once you arrive on property. We totally fell in love with Orlando a.k.a. "Gato". He was a grounds keeper on property and would find Sloths and leave a pair of binoculars out in an area where one was located. Our treehouse room had visits from several spider monkeys right on our balcony. I would not book a treehouse room if you find it difficult to navigate a lot of stairs, but there are other accomadations there that I am sure are just as nice. Everyone there was very nice and was eager to help with suggestions or anything we may need. We wouldn't hesitate going back on another trip to Manuel Antonio. Thanks so much yall.

Expérience inoubliable dans un havre de paix.

Je vous recommande vivement cet hôtel si vous souhaitez passer un séjour au calme et vraiment relaxant. Les chambres sont confortables, et le cadre est exceptionnel. Vous aurez l’opportunité de prendre votre petit-déjeuner tout en observant des singes, des paresseux et des perroquets. Stephan et son équipe sont d’une grande gentillesse et veilleront à ce que votre séjour soit inoubliable. Si nous revenons au Costa Rica, nous ferons sûrement encore escale dans ce lieu.
