This was my first trip to the Philippines in Makati City and Y2 Residence went above and beyond my expectations during my stay. The ladies at the reception desk are very friendly and helpful, and I loved chatting with all of them everyday. The restaurant in the lobby is great for convenience for the breakfast meal. All the Housekeeping staff was friendly and able to assist other needs on short notice. I don’t remember all the names of the staff but the ladies at the front desk, Mia, Angel, Chrish, Bea, and all the rest of the staff I will never forget for the help they gave me. I am already preparing for my next trip and I will be staying here because of the staff

The room is simple but functional and had a funky charm. I liked the kitchen and separate bedroom and the nice city views. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I had a problem with my door key card not working. They got it fixed quickly. A couple of suggestions: if the hotel provided a scrub pad and hand towel I could have cleaned the dishes better. It’s time to clean the bathroom tile grout as it is dark with dirt or mold. Overall this hotel was a good value and nice place to stay, with plenty of dining options within walking distance.
