So when I arrived the check in process was brief, and after that I went to my room. I could tell the place was a little dated and expected it to have some issues. The room was very neat and clean, a few cosmetic issues like water stains in the bathroom. The biggest issue I faced was poor drainage of both the sink and toilet. They don't work properly, the bathroom shower leaks as well out of the handle. Check out was easy, no one was around.

Free parking and relatively reasonable cost for a night were positives. Room was okay - it had space for chairs and a table but they chose to just leave all that space empty which was odd. Breakfast was pretty "standard" and acceptable. Eggs but no bacon or sausage, which is something I personally would hope for but I can understand if the owners avoid pork for religious reasons, I would honor that choice. Close to the Riverfront but otherwise it's a rather ugly, depressing site surrounded by highways, overpasses, and old buildings being demolished. If you're not there for something going on in the city, probably better to stay out of town.

Room not done on first night. One elevator kept breaking down. Breakfast not free and expensive. Staff very unresponsive to room not done and other issues. Manager not on duty at any time during stay.

Cheap, clean, quiet, close.
