The staff and owners were absolutely awesome, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The service, location, breakfast, and dinner were all great. However, the stay wasn’t as comfortable as it could have been due to the bathroom’s cleanliness. It seems like it may need renovation, as it felt too untidy to comfortably take a bath. With improvements to the bathroom, this place has the potential to offer an excellent overall experience.

All the staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a cooked breakfast and had an evening meal one night which was very nice. Our room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. The only problem was it was really cold and we couldnt get the radiator to work. The TV was oddly positioned which meant we couldnt easily watch it but that wasnt an issue. The shower was an issue, it trickled out so it wasnt a pleasant experience but overal our stay was really good.

Comfortable stay in Old Malton.

Pleasant country pub in a nice area. Comfortable room and bed with very clean bedding. The bathroom was adequate but had a poor shower. Friendly and helpful staff. The cooked breakfast had quality ingredients and was outstanding. Our stay was great value for money and would recommend.

Its an old property which has charn, and the owners have done as much as possible to make the accommodation comfortable and welcoming. Food is great and well priced and there is a good selection of beers.
