My visit clashed with Saturday night karaoke, so noisy until midnight. However, the price was a bargain....so this balanced out the inconvenience. Was the amazing price a reflection of the noise that would accompany the evening of my stay. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room clean, bed comfortable

The location was ok some nice shops and restaurants. The room was BASIC, no where to hang wet towel, TV was tiny and didn’t work, the room was never cleaned no tea coffee refresh rubbish was never collected. The bed was squeaky and lumpy but the worst thing was the noise from the road outside it was horrendous and 24 hour’s, the traffic lights were right outside our window and farm traffic,trucks etc were banging and clattering 😫

It has free parking and is in a good position in the centre of Malton. It is very good value for money and I will stay there again

It is what it claimed to be, and we enjoyed our stay. The owner/proprietors are friendly and we enjoyed our chat with them. There are excellent restaurants for tea and dinner within a short walking distance. The pub is very welcoming, as well.
