A joy to stay at!

Our stay at the Carden Arms couldn't have been better. Just what a country pub should be. Our bedroom was amazingly furnished with good antiques and was very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. A big 'thank you' to the person who rescued it from closure!

Exceptional stay with exceptional staff.

Staff and the hospitality we received was second to none. Highly recommend Carden Arms to anyone looking for beautiful surroundings and quaint village life. Family Room we stayed in was excellent. Clean and tidy with a fantastic comfortable 4 poster bed. Breakfast was exceptional and service was fantastic. Special mention to John (manager) and Neal (chef) who went above and beyond helping us. We came to see Kings of Leon in Wrexham and struggled with transport to and from. Neal came to the rescue which made our stay even more memorable. Can’t thank you all enough. Highly recommend Carden Arms for food, beverages and room hospitality.

We had a lovely time here. We booked a family room which was clean and spacious. The room had everything we needed with comfy beds. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was tasty. The cooked breakfast menu was great & had something for everyone. The pub is Nice and quiet and in the middle of the countryside.

Friendly staff and local. Food was very good quality. On the down side there was no breakfast intil after 8.00-8.30. You will need your own transport as taxis in the morning are busy with local school runs.

Perfect for us, room was above the bar so could be a bit noisey if you want an early night but didnt effect us. Friendly staff and a good price. Breakfast was a little bonus
