I would not stay here again. The room was very small, and they charged an additional 500 SEK cleaning fee, which felt excessive for what was provided. Good location. Apart from the first day, no services were provided. There was no coffee replenishment, and basic amenities were lacking. They did not provide slippers or towels, which was disappointing. They also asked to wash all the dishes and clean the room before leaving. Another issue was that there were mosquitoes in the room, making it uncomfortable, especially at night.

Good location and service

Very convinient location to centrum and Malmöhus in walking distance. Have their own parking garage is an absolute plus and there is ICA just 2min walking distance. We have a room with kitchenett, so easy to prepare breakfast ourselves. Stuffs are very helping. It's a nice stay!

A lovely family stay

We stayed as a family in a 5 person family room. This is a great option if you have 3 kids. We had a very nice stay at Scandic Malmo City. The room was spacious and clean. Our favorite part was the free breakfast. For the cost of the room, There were so many options to choose from and they were awesome accommodating food allergies for gluten or dairy. The lounge area does have limited food service but it’s quite limited so don’t expect a normal restaurant except for the breakfast. You have to “book” a breakfast time and room cleanings. My advice is, if you have flexibility, book your breakfast when more spots are open since it will be less crowded. Great location in the city. It’s easily walkable to many things to do in Malmo.

The hotel is within walking distance of Malmo Central Train Station and Malmo's tourist spot attractions. It's easy to go around just by walking or use of public transportation. The hotel doesn't have AC though and since it's really hot recently, they provided an electric fan for use in the hotel. Also, they were in the process of upgrading their security so the key card for laundry room is not working as expected and had to always request the staff to use their key card for the elevator going to laundry room.

Be mindful of what Expedia offers. We booked a quad with 2 twin beds and a double bed (per Expedia). The hotel gave us two twins and a pull out couch. Sky Hotel staff told us the issue wasn't with them as they did not have that option available, and that we needed to take up the issue with Expedia. I tried contacting Expedia to raise the concern but without success. Buyer beware with Expedia.
