The facilities are amazing - the pools are immaculate and gorgeous scenery in general. Staff are great. The only downside was the very limited menu (and quite high prices for the portion/quality) at Lion in the Sun. On top of that, all vegetarian options were not available one day, with no alternative offered - which was a little disappointing, especially as nearby places (Art and Nature - highly recommend!) were able to modify dishes and cater for dietary requirements on request.

Not worth a billion

Facilities were very nice although there was some misconception about the location as unless you rent an apartment you actually stay at lion in the sun resort accross the street from the billionaire. Food and drinks were terrible for a resort of this caliber. Thank god dining in the area is excellent

Très beau resort extérieurement : jardins, piscines, palmiers et cadre en bord de mer magnifiques. C’est principalement pour cela que je mets 2 étoiles. Malheureusement, le reste est très loin du standing « Billionaire ». Appartement vieillissant, équipements usés, traces d’humidité, finitions dégradées, coupures d’eau et d’électricité. Plus grave : une partie en bois complètement pourrie de notre balcon s’est détachée lorsque je l’ai touchée et j’ai failli tomber. Gros problème de sécurité ! Le service est catastrophique, notamment à la plage : parfois 20/30 min juste pour avoir la carte, puis encore 30 min pour être servi. Personnel nombreux mais très mal organisé. Le jour du départ, situation hallucinante : on m’emmène jusqu’à la blanchisserie pour me montrer 2 serviettes tachées de maquillage, en me disant que les taches ne partaient pas et en me demandant « ce qu’on pouvait faire ». Or la serviette semblait même ne pas avoir été lavée : maquillage et paillettes encore présents ! Heureusement, Paul, le directeur, a été très professionnel : écoute, excuses et sujet immédiatement clos. Merci à lui. Un lieu avec un potentiel énorme, mais qui nécessite une vraie rénovation et surtout une grosse amélioration du service. Le nom est Billionaire, l’expérience malheureusement pas.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Die Klimaanlage in den Zimmern muss dringend gewartet werden. Auch ist die Küche nicht im perfekten Zustand. Die Betten sind gut und der Balkon ist traumhaft. Auch die Außenanlage ist sehr schön. Die Speisekarte ist sehr überschaubar, was ab Tag 5 dann tatsächlich ein Problem darstellt. Beim Frühstück gibt es keinen Käse und keine Wurst. Einige Baumaßnahmen während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir als sehr störend empfunden. Aber aufgrund der Schönheit der Anlage würden wir tatsächlich wiederkommen. Das Spa war in Ordnung.

Das Billionaire hat zwei Bereiche: das eigentliche Billionaire Resort am Meer mit Appartements (22 insgesamt, von denen aber 11 im Besitz von regelmäßigen Gäste ist) und das „Lion in the Sun“ (nicht direkt am Meer), das Zimmer anbietet. Bei der Buchung in Expedia landet man im „Lion in the Sun“. Im Lion in the Sun gibt es mehrere Hütten, die je 4 Zimmer beinhalten. Jede Hütte hat ihren eigenen Lounge Bereich mit Sofas und einem eigenen Pool. Außerdem gibt es noch einen großen gemeinschafts-Pool. Frühstück gibt es in dem Teil in dem man übernachtet. Restaurant nur im Billionaire. Ein Shuttle Service Transportiert einen wann immer man möchte von einem in den anderen Teil (600m Distanz). Der Strand am Billionaire ist felsig, die Pools im „Lion in the Sun“ sind traumhaft und sehr ruhig, perfekt zum entspannen. Das Fitnessstudio ist gut, hat aber leider kein WLAN. Das Personal ist super freundlich und bemüht. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen. Der Strand am Billionaire hingegen war etwas enttäuschend.

The strange thing is when you book on Expedia you think you are booked at the Billionaire Resort but you end up staying at their different property called Lion in the Sun- very deceptive. Other than that I had a pleasant stay at Lion in the Sun, the staff were extremely hospitable and exceeded my expectations. I would go back again and again. I suggest you separate the properties when booking on Expedia.

We were really disappointed when we found out that you had to purchase everything even water and tea . I have never stayed in any place where water wasn’t free. Food was just not it . Pricey and not good quality food, only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the chocolate cake lava even though it was about 3 full spoons . We had stayed at sandies tropical which was few meters away, paid less than what we paid here and it was all inclusive. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary but it was not acknowledged. All the pools were very deep , some People don’t know how to swim . Overall we wouldn’t pay that much money for a resort like this . Highly disappointed
