This was a relaxing property for a one night stay prior to our flight home. Staff were accommodating and grounds were smaller but nice. The property is located where several busy roads are nearby so there was some traffic noise but it did not impact our short stay.

The staff were amazing. Always friendly and helpful. I could not praise them highly enough. The restaurant is top rate and definitely worth coming back for. The pools area was very nice but a little more sun protection would have been nice. The only area lacking was the maintenance. My toilet hardly flushed and the hand basin was cracked and leaked.

We had a fantastic stay at Malena Hotel and Suites! The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a great vacation. A special mention goes to Despina, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and her warm hospitality made a huge difference. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We absolutely recommend Malena Hotel and Suites to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We would love to return in the future!

Nicely landscaped facility, near the beach. If you're not interested in walking a few hundred meters, there's a huge parking area at the beach. The property is a beautiful oasis in a mixed-use region. That's a plus. There's an enormous hypermarket three minutes distant, and plenty of restaurants readily accessible by car. Breakfast was excellent. Our unit had a hot-tub which we didn't use. There's adequate parking on-site. If that's filled, there's plenty more space next door. We stayed our last night in Crete. It's only about 15 easy minutes from Heraklion airport. Being "adults only" the pool and open areas are quiet and pleasant. Let the kids do their thing elsewhere.

2-3am we could hear water dripping down from the property/side of our room there was also noise coming from a hose pipe from outside - very loud spraying outside on to our room. The AC wasn’t great felt non existent.

Das Hotel war prinzipiell wie beworben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer in gutem Zustand und sauber. Es herrachte durchgängig eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre, selbst wenn viele Gäste gleichzeitig anwesend waren. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Sitzgelegenheit am zimmereigenen Pool leider dreckig und dauerhaft nass war, so dass man diese nicht wirklich benutzen konnte. Da aber Stühle vorhanden waren, war das für uns nicht weiter problematisch.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The first room was by a rather busy road but they kindly moved us to a better, quieter room. Our room had a hot tub which was clean and lovely and warm. The breakfasts were good with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. We would certainly recommend this hotel and go back again. .

The staff were brilliant they always help and patient about the room its clean we had issues with our hotel room door it did not open easily when you swipe the card and ironing board did not have legs on it so its just small ironing board that I hade to put on chair for me to iron my close.

Tolles Hotel mit schönen Zimmern, gutem Pool und bequemen Liegen. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag sehr lecker (Müsli, frische Früchte, Eierspeisen, süßes und salziges Gebäck, Wurst, Käse, Säfte, Smoothies, Kaffee, süße Cremes,...). Katzen hat es auch im Hotel :) Die Lage war für uns nicht nicht ganz optimal. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Jacuzzi aber leider war es aufgrund der Durchfahrtsstraße tagsüber und nachts recht laut, wenn man ein Fenster offen hatte bzw. wenn man auf dem Balkon war. Es gibt in der Nähe Restaurants, Souvenirshops und eine Bar, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Allerdings läuft man auch hier fast immer direkt an der Durchfahrtsstraße.

Hotel wirkt auf den ersten Blick gepflegt und modern. Erreichbarkeit vom Flughafen sehr gut. Zimmer geräumig und gut geschnitten, Bad groß und mit einer guten Dusche ausgestattet. Die Köchin beim Frühstück war wahnsinnig nett und freundlich! Zum Strand etwa 5min zu Fuß. Frühstück: Tische kleben auf der kompletten Oberseite und das jeden Tag. Der sehr arrogante Manager läuft jeden Morgen nur auf und ab und tut recht geschäftig, geht an seinen Gästen aber ohne Gruß vorbei. Seine Lieblingsaufgabe besteht darin, die Mitarbeiter vor allen Gästen zu maßregeln und die Wärmelampen über dem Buffet mal nach oben und dann wieder nach unten zu ziehen. An einem Tag lag am Buffet aufgeschnittene Wurst, die schon richtig schmierig war und gestunken hat. Wir haben sie dem Manager diskret gezeigt und er meinte nur die ist frisch und auch frisch aufgeschnitten - und hat die Wurst im Buffet gelassen. Einer aus unserer Gruppe ist Fleischermeister und der hat die Wurst als eindeutig ungenießbar eingestuft!! Wir waren zu dritt und haben für 3 Erwachsene gebucht und voll bezahlt. Anstatt eines dritten Betts gab es aber nur ein Laken auf das Sofa. Das Sofa ist bretthart und es ist unmöglich darauf zu schlafen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dann zu dritt im Doppelbett geschlafen. Terrasse wurde bei unserem Aufenthalt (8 Tage) nur 1x und nur nach Aufforderung gereinigt. Am privaten Pool war ein schönes, aber komplett versifftes Balibett. Putzfrau wäscht den Mob im privaten Pool aus!! Ekelhaft!! :(

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren hervorragend. Abends Service am Platz und als Abschluss einen Raki. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer mit Whirlpool war sauber und sehr geräumig. Am Pool konnte man sich entspannen da alles sehr ruhig und gediegen war. Die Busverbindung in die Stadt ist super, der Bus hält direkt vor dem Eingang. Der schöne Strand ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Einzig die Gegend außerhalb des Hotels ist sehr vernachlässigt, was sehr schade ist.

Die Empfangsdame war sehr Freundlich und Nett, hat uns immer sehr geholfen und konnte sich sogar auf Deutsch mit uns Verständigen. Die Essensauswahl zum Frühstück war ausreichend. Das Zimmer könnte Sauberer sein. Das Bad war schon sehr dreckig trotz reinigung. Der Whirlpool hätte gereinigt werden müssen während unseres Aufenthaltes.

Wir waren 10 Tage im Malena Hotel und haben es wirklich genießen können. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und der Service lässt nicht zu wünschen übrig. Die Zimmer könnten etwas sauberer und die Ausstattung etwas gehobener sowie gepflegter sein. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen man hat eine gute Anbindung und ist schnell überall auf der Insel.

Ein gutes Hotel mit Makel… gut gelegen nähe Stadt und Nähe Strand… ruhig und entspannt Gutes Frühstück und angenehme Atmosphäre Leider ist alles nicht so sauber… Im Essbereich sind die Tische klebrig.. im Zimmer wird nur gewischt , das Geschirr nur kalt gespült… alles etwas schmutzig… das wirpool wird alle 2-3 Tage gereinigt! Personal freundlich! Preisleistung stimmt nicht ganz..
