Lovely stay in the area of Ammoudara. Johannes is lovely and accommodating, answering all our questions about how to get to Heraklion and also how to get to Chania. The pool is lovely and the hotel having access to the beach is wonderful - I would stay again.

The owner of the property and all the staff were amazing, very professional and helpful. The place was near the beach, very clean and suitable to people who need peace and quiet. Easy access to the city centre and airport, one only need to walk five minutes and get onto a bus. We like as well the supermarket and restaurants nearby.

I stayed here for a week in summer 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The room had beautiful panoramic sea views, and the beach was just a minute’s walk away. The staff were always kind and welcoming, and having parking at the hotel was very convenient since we rented a car. It’s also only a 5-minute drive from the center of Heraklion, which made it easy to explore. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back on my next trip to Crete!

This hotel is perfect for anyone looking for genuine peace and relaxation. There is no loud music, no parties, and no unnecessary noise—only the sound of the sea and birds singing. It is the ideal place to disconnect and recharge. Everything is spotlessly clean. The rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained, and the entire hotel reflects the care and dedication of the staff. The Greek Mediterranean décor is charming, the swimming pool is beautiful, and the breakfast is fresh, varied, and delicious. The location is excellent, only 15 minutes from Heraklion. We highly recommend renting a car to explore Crete. Around the hotel you’ll also find a large supermarket, bus stops, restaurants, travel agencies, and many shops. What truly makes this hotel unforgettable is Yanis, the manager, and his wonderful mother. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the very first day. They were so nice and welcoming!! They helped me a lot when I needed help and I’m thankful for that! It was nice that they had a pool and a small but nice breakfast! And the beach is one minute walk away which was also nice! The AC worked great in the room! They also order a taxi if you need one! And a great restaurant is close by also a big supermarket ! I loved it! I will come again!

A perfect stay on Crete

My son and daughter and I had an amazing stay here. The hotel might be old but it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were looked after brilliantly and treated like family rather than guests. We could easily walk to a range of really good bars and restaurants and there is a massive supermarket five minutes walk away. Loved it.

Brilliant place, beach front , very attentive people, friendly and welcoming. Big , well stocked supermarket in walking distance. Easy transport by bus ( nr 1 and 2 to the town centre and airport , and nr 6 to Amoudara beach on a way back to the hotel, or from airport) . Absolute gem.
