The staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was basic but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and linens and towels were clean. The air-conditioner worked well. The tea, coffee and Tim Tams were appreciated. The only down side was the room was musty. The curtains need a wash. There is no fly screen on the front door or bathroom window so you couldn't get a breeze without insects coming in.

Friendly staff, absolutely beautiful location. Great food at the restaurant. Unfortunately our bathroom was in desperate need of renovation. The vanity unit was starting to fall apart, the toilet cistern was deteriorating and the whole room had a musty damp smell. We were still quite comfortable but there was definitely room for improvement.

Cannot beat the view

IT needs a little love but this places has wonderful service and unbeatable views! It was great to have a kitchen and 2 bedrooms to spread out and enjoy our stay.

Massive room with amazing views. A bit old but comfortable. Disappointed restaurant and bar wasn’t open but I should have checked before booking as it was a Monday/Tuesday nights

The staff were friendly. I'd booked for 2 adults and one child and we were expected to share a queen bed. There was only 2 towels. The bathroom cabinet was shedding chipboard flakes. Only continental breakfast was available however, on the website pictures displayed full cooked breakfast with local produce. We found 2 dead cockroaches in our room. Location was beautiful.

The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a bother. The property is a bit dated but I already knew that when making the booking and with a view like that, you don't even notice! We had a drink at the restaurant in the afternoon and enjoyed a game of scrabble on the deck (lots of games to choose from) and we later had dinner too which was very nice. Again, that view!! It was really relaxing and quiet and just what we needed. Great price too, especially for school holidays.

Our stay was very average the place has fantastic views however everything else isn’t great the blinds in one room were broken, jug was filthy white flakes coming off the bottom (decided I didn’t need coffee once boiled) and our toilet smelt so bad like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. We couldn’t connect to the wifi an error kept coming up. The tv is so outdated that there is nothing to connect Netflix ect and the couches were super uncomfortable. Beds were comfy but glad we only stayed one night won’t be back for the price and what it actually is. With some updates this place would be incredible given the location.

Emma on reception was welcoming. Great view to Glasshouse Mountains from the room. Towels good size, fluffy and thick. Parking in front of room. - Upstairs living area aircon didn’t work at all. Requested repair on arrival- nothing done. Downstairs only 1 aircon in main bedroom which only sent air directly down towards the floor. 2nd bedroom had no aircon. We had to leave both bedroom doors open and hope some warm air circulated through both rooms. It didn’t! Mid July during a cold snap in Maleny without aircon is not fun. None of us slept. My husband wore thermals to bed for the first time in his life(and we’ve been to Alaska Norway and Iceland). Holes in threadbare curtains. Narrow wooden balcony with gaps between timber decking and old mouldy fence palings for the balustrade meant you would not want to sit out there despite the view. Open shower in a small bathroom meant the whole floor and only bath mat got wet and no way to dry the floor or hang up the bath mat as only 1 small towel rail for 3 bath towels, a hand towel and washer. No tissues. When I told Emma how bad it had been without aircon she said she would make a note do they would do something for us on our next visit. Not necessary- we won’t be back. Worst place we’ve ever stayed In Maleny area.

The view was amazing but the room was extremely average. Book in was easy and very friendly bu what we disliked the most was the bed. It was dreadful. You also need a car to get to the shopping strip.

It is an older style motel, so don't go there if you expect a 5 star experience. But it's not a 5 star price either. The view of the Glasshouse Mountains from there is magnificent. The manager was lovely. I spoke to her about a couple of safety issues that I felt needed addressing and I'm sure that she will address them. The bed was very comfortable. Dining: Sukho Thai. It's a short drive from the motel and is the best Thai we have ever eaten. We've often made an overnight stop in Maleny just to dine at that restaurant. Yes, it's that good! It is extremely popular, so you need to book ahead. Tranquil Lodge have a restaurant on site and we've been told by another person staying at the motel that the food is good there and that we should give it a try it sometime. It would have to be a 2 night stay though. We can't go to Maleny and not go to Sukho Thai!! Take a torch to get from your car to your room if you go out at night, just in case management haven't had a chance to address the lighting issue before you go there.

The size was great, the beds were comfy and it was warm with the heatpump on. But the unit needed some TLC. Big wet mark on the lounge floor and a big mold patch in the shower. Toilet and basin both very old and damaged.
