We have stayed here several times before and it has always been a good experience everything you want is catered for in the room,my only criticism and it is personal to me is that I found the duvet to heavy for me, but that's it will book again in a few weeks.

Lovely historic building in a great location, however we were sorely let down by the noise from the road, light coming through the shutters (the whole way through the night thanks to lights outside) and the extraordinary temperature of the room. We believe we had booked a room with air conditioning (double with four poster bed) as the Expedia listing showed A/C in these rooms; our room not only did not have A/C but also the world's least effective tower fan (that we had to position on top of a bin to have even the slightest of affect). The amenities, including the coffee, soft drinks, and of course the amaretto were greatly appreciated, however the overall experience was let down by the complete lack of sleep due to the heat and light.
