The hotel is under renovation on the front part. But it doesnโ€™t affect much experience for me since the room and the hotel lobby are still ok. Got free breakfast with quite complete selection. Will stay again if I go malang. Quite in city Centre and easy to go around from this hotel. Just next to the old malang train station too!

Unfortunately, our room was not very clean. Also the safe was not working. That's why we contacted the staff to give us a new room. Unfortunately, the next room was the same. So a handyman came to fix the safe and a cleaner to clean again. In the end it was okay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, nice pool and great breakfast buffet. Spa services on site. Staff very helpful. ATM nearby. But if distance to some attractions but transportation cheap and hotel staff willing to help co-ordinate. Would recommend and would stay again if back in Malang.

Faded hotel in a noisy, bad neighborhood

Upon checking in, we were stunned over the extremely poor condition of the walls. They had undergone very significant dents and discolorations, as if there had been movers moving furniture in and out 50 times. The internet was quite unreliable. It is extremely noisy, due to the chants coming out of the loud speaker from the next door mosque starting at 3am and again at 5am, as well as the various trains that run throughout the day and night blowing their horns. We could not get much sleep as a result of this. The neighborhood was extremely chaotic. It takes a very long time and huge amount of daring to cross the street in there. I once had to pay someone to run out with a sign and stop traffic. The site indicates that there is a bar, but this is deceptive, because they do not serve alcohol (only "mocktails")

This hotel shoud be down graded to 2 star hotel. They gave us very bad towels that they should throw it to the garbage bin. The only reason we select this hotel because they gave cheaper price than the others. Please think twice to select this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a bit awkward environment

Nice new hotel 2 km from centre of Malang, in residential area with no services or places of interest. Transport to centre by taxi, angkot or walking. Modern clean room with good bed and shower, working wifi and a/c. Good Asian buffet breakfast; on 9th floor rooftop bar and restaurant with city vews. Nice big pool. Instead of daily bottled water hotel could offer possibility for water refill. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

Nice good value new hotel

It is a nice new budget hotel. Real value for the price. The only downside is the location, which is next to train station. Although the noise is minimal, it does have a ghetto feel to it.

Good, pleasant, and comfort hotel

The room is spacious enough and very comfort for our little family. The furniture is new and in good condition. Shower, air con works well. The pool (M floor) is clean and fun, also the kids pool. From pool area, we can see train passing by behind the hotel. The only i complaint about is, i have to wait so long for check-in. The receptionist looks like very busy and can't focus on me. Maybe because the hotel got so many guest that day (new year). I also have to wait again when i ask them to set my bed. The breakfast is so-so, just a few choices of food. But overall, i like the hotel, the room, the swimming pool. And the location beside train station can be advantage too if you traveling by train.

NOT near the main train station

This hotel is far off the beaten path and not in a walkable spot--you will need to take a taxi everywhere, and there is a minimum on on any taxi ride. The picture implies it is next to a train station, which it is--but NOT the main train station. Most modern trains do not stop there. So plan on travel time to anywhere you want to go. The road in front of the hotel is divided with concrete barrier, so it is much faster to get to town, longer to get to the hotel.
