Malakoff Vacations

Great location, quaint hotel, great restaurant and lounge, the rooms are clean and beds comfortable.

Front desk Millie was amazing. Breakfast was ok . But more cut fruits would improve the buffet and a waffle option. Also we arrived when the hotel had already swished from air-conditioning to heat. So my room is very hot and uncomfortable at night. Unfortunately, I wanted to open the windows but the sound on the street would've prevented me from sleeping.

The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. On check-in, the hotel’s only elevator was broken, forcing us to carry our luggage up narrow stairs to the fifth floor. The elevator was still out of service the next day. When I complained, the manager was incredibly rude and refused to offer any compensation. We were celebrating our anniversary and expected comfort and relaxation, but he actually asked why we didn’t leave if we knew the elevator wasn’t working. This was completely unprofessional, and other guests received the same dismissive treatment. The area was extremely noisy, with garbage trucks arriving around 5:30 a.m. every morning. We were never warned about this and barely slept throughout our four-night stay. Even our room, one of the largest with a balcony (Room 509), was extremely small. There was no proper minibar, just a refillable glass bottle of water. I would never return to this hotel. The poor facilities, unbearable noise, and especially the manager’s unacceptable attitude made our anniversary trip a disappointment. I honestly question how this hotel has a four-star rating. Think twice before booking!
