The AC unit was effective & I didn't need to have it on for too long. The shower room though small was modern. I loved being able to open the bedroom window. Although my room (201) was beside the lift, it wasn't noisy. Francisco at reception was lovely, helpful & kind.Maria Zambrano train station is only a few mins walk & the bus station a few mins extra. This is a most convenient place to stay if needed these public transport facilities.

Don Paco is centrally located to the bus and train stations, shopping malls, the paseo and a wide variety of restaurant choices. The rooms are small, but comfortable, clean with crisp towels and linens. And a surprisingly comfortable pillow (which I NEVER find, even in high-end in hotels). The rain shower head was lovely! Though basic, the hotel is well cared for and very tidy -- lobby, elevator, stairway and the rooms all clean, no garbage laying about, no scuffs on the walls. The check in was easy and front desk staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend Hotel Don Paco if you're looking for a basic place to stay when visiting Malaga, without having to spend a lot of money. My room (#103) had a window that faced the interior 'garden' and was fairly close to the elevator, but I didn't hear a lot of noise except a little from the room next door when that person showered, not unlike what I hear in any other hotels. I will stay here again when I come back to Malaga.

Staff very helpful allowing early check-in and bag storage after checkout with no charge. I left something in the room, which was attached to my bag when I came to retrieve it from storage. My room only had a window facing into the enclosed atrium, so no traffic noise, though people were walking past the window. Clean and effective air conditioning.
