Wonderful communication from the host. Always quickly responsive. Very clean, well located building. Loved the “outdoor” feel of the building. Without checking, I’d assumed that the balcony would look at something other than the street/another building a short distance away. But that was my error. Really lovely stay!

The location is great, in downtown but in a quiet place. The apartment needs some maintenance, the walls need some paint and the baseboards some deep cleaning. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. Our shower didn't have a door so the splashing in the bathroom area was a problem. The apartment didn't have any hand soap, dish detergent or extra garbage bags.

great location, easy to find and access once contacted the host for key codes. We arrived late evening and had no issues. Apartment spacious, great socialising areas and the 2 bathrooms were great. They provide some small toiletries and washing up facilities, if there longer would need to purchase more. There is a Lidl/Aldi 7mins walk away and open until 930pm. Great accommodation if travelling with family/kids. We would stay again.

Close to everything, restaurants, shops, groceries and attractions. Very comfortable, including the bed and sitting room, everything needed to cook a meal was there. The only problem was that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well enough, hairs in the shower tray and on the floor, we cleaned it ourselves. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and would return

Apartment is well located in the historic centre of Málaga. Check in process is easy, kitchen is well stocked and apartment is beautifully furnished. The apartment could do with some paint touch ups as we noticed some scuffs on the walls and whilst the apartment was clean overall, some skirting boards were dusty. A small amenity package is provided although larger bottles as opposed to miniatures, particularly for stays more than 1 night would be welcomed.

Our trip to Málaga was wonderful, but unfortunately our stay at Atenea Málaga Apartments significantly impacted the experience. The location was excellent within walking distance of the historic center, restaurants, and attractions. Check-in was straightforward, and communication before arrival was good. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was extremely uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and overall the apartment did not provide the level of comfort we expected. What was most disappointing was the lack of support from the property after we reported the issues. We only stayed 1 of our 9 nights with this property and had to pay for another hotel and this hotel never refunded our money. Málaga itself is an amazing destination. We especially loved visiting Nerja, which was the highlight of our trip. The beaches were beautiful, the town was peaceful, and it offered a much more relaxing atmosphere than the city. We would absolutely return to the Costa del Sol. For future trips, however, we'll likely choose a Marriott or Hilton property instead of a vacation rental. Having on-site staff available to address issues in real time provides much greater peace of mind than relying on a remote property manager. I would recommend Málaga without hesitation, but I cannot recommend this property based on our experience.
