Definitely will stay here again when in Malacca.

Modern rooms, incredible views, easy access, great amenities, fantastic location with easy access by rideshare from bus station, great concierge support, connected to shopping centre.

Negatives were poor plumbing in room (v. limited to no hot water), lack of information on property (no folder in room nor info' channel on TV) and noise (loud speaker from local mosque and disconcerting explosions at midnight (fireworks ?))

It was advertised as tennis court but its only half of it, strictly its only a tennis wall. The hotel room was big and spacious, do not feel cram.

Not like: Limited car parks. Noise from next door guests was very loud. Overall we are happy with our stay in Swiss Garden Hotel as the staff were extremely helpful and provided good customer service. The room is comfortable with everything listed in your hotel website.

Pleasantly surprised

Everything you’d expect expect from a 4 star hotel! Only thing is the sauna & gym were shared by Swiss garden residences so on weekends it can get quite busy. Some of the equipment in the gym could be better but then again you don’t melaka to spend time in the gym 😂

The hotel is next to a mall but the mall is dead. There is a Starbucks downstairs. Free parking was inconvenient because has to access thru the mall. So we decided to pay for the valet parking. The towel has yellowish stain. Lack of mirror, the only mirror is in the toilet and the lighting is not bright enough to do the make up. Lounge was closed during the stay.

Despite the newly renovated hotel, however the toilet stinks and there’s algae all around the corner. The kids swimming is definitely not a safe place for kids because the tiles were broken, you can see the bits and pieces of tiles floating around and there’s alot of algae on the sides and even on the ground of the swimming pool. Will not recommand the kids swimming pool. Breakfast were not much of choices to choose from but it’s still a wide spread of simple breakfast.

Ridiculous extra charges

We booked a 3 people room, however the hotel only provided 2 towels. When requested for extra 1 towel, the hotel was asking RM10 charge. They advised it's the hotel policy to provide 2 towels only per room. It really opened my eyes that how could a 4 star hotel operated in such poor policy.

House keeping must done before noon time.

Toilet floor with water when check in. After one day go meet customer. When back hotel on 3pm. No house keeping until call front desk arrange. Waiting at lobby 2 hrs only done. Very bad experience.
