The overall place was lovely, the rooms were good minus the fact the bathroom is fully open to the room with a door you can see through when going to the toilet, if you are going to a number 2, the other person can see you! Gluten free options were a struggle at this hotel, we gave some advice to staff but I had a few issues with being glutened. It's probs one to avoid if you are coeliac. 'Soy sauce' has gluten in!

Beautiful hotel!

The hotel is truly 5*, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Pool is gorgeous with access right on the beach. If you’re not staying here all-inclusive I would recommend hiring a car, however the hotel does offer excursions.

Good hotel with friendly staff, but inability to fix a room lock despite numerous reminders reduces our rating. All of a sudden we were completely locked out of one of our rooms, which happened several times during the stay. Furthermore, we booked a sightseeing trip with the reception desk, but on the actual date the driver didn’t show up. The hotel kept claiming that the tour was booked but at the end it was clear to us that no booking had been made.

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at Story, with our 6 months son. The service was top level! There were some small hiccups with some of our in room service, but they really managed to address it accordingly and make up for that. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful site and nice interior. The handheld shower head in our shower didn’t work, but the rainfall did so no problem with that. Food at the available restaurants were ok, but honestly we didn’t stay there for a food experience.

I just returned from this lovely hotel. It was my first visit to the Seychelles and I purposely booked somewhere which is located on one of the best beaches and access to other restaurants Upon arrival from the UK we were offered our room quite quickly. Neige went through the details of the hotel and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was just dreamy, always clean warm and amazing views of the beach on one side and the green mountains on the other The staff around the beach and pool were always happy and willing to help. Lallit was particularly helpful and took some great Picts of us at the beach at sunset - thank you! We visited Trader Vics - food was ok and a little pricey for the portions provided. Our favourite restaurant was Seyshima. There are only 4 members of staff running the entire restaurant - but my goodness what great team work. I was blown away. The food service and ambience was perfect every time we ate here. Aye & Tanya we’re particularly brilliant to say the least. They suggested great recommendations on what to order - they spoke highly of how well they are treated by the resort and that was really heart warming to hear. It was my birthday , the hotel provided a lovely cake and beautiful decor on my birthday which was greatly appreciated Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay

I arrived at STORY having spend few days on Praline and La Digue thinking that since I had such a wonderful time at the resorts on those 2 islands, my stay at STORY should be far more superior having booked myself into a beach villa. I was very disappointed having paid a high price to stay in a beach villa which lacked attention to detail by the housekeeping department. There was a fruit basket in the room which included raw inedible mangoes that the knife could not cut into them because it was so bland I couldn't even slice an apple. I wondered what's the point of placing raw hard mangoes in a fruit basket, wasting the fruit. There wasn't a note pad and pencil or pen I could use and most annoying was the lack of turned down service. Upon checking into the STORY they informed me of their Creole buffet on the same evening which I found very poor and rather boring.I know what Creole cuisine should look and taste and this wasn't anywhere near it. The following morning breakfast was a disaster. The attitude of the staff was so distant, unsmiling and unfriendly, anticipating what you would say with raised eyebrows without saying a word. The buffet display was poor and the coffee tasted so bad and bitter it must have been standing there for a long time. When I found out I could order an Americano, it arrived 10 minutes later with the waitress holding the cup by the handle, placing it in front of me without saying a word, sans the saucer and the teaspoon.

After reading some of the reviews, I was initially hesitant to book at this hotel. I am So glad that I booked anyway. It is an amazing property with amazing restaurants and staff. The rooms are luxurious and spacious and the location is walkable to other restaurants and beach activities.

We, two couples, were there for almost 2 weeks and really enjoyed. Now, when cold weather is coming, I appreciate that paradise, both place and hotel, even more. And staff was fantastic - especially Victoria - Vika, in managerial, operational and human-practical helping. For sure I would like to repeat this ASAP.

Incroyable ! Hotel bien pensé pour profiter de ses vacances. L'hôtel est magnifique, le cadre et la vue a couper le souffle et le staff est au petit soin. Restaurants, buffet, spa, piscine ou entretien tout le monde est investi poli et très serviable.
