Location was brilliant. Very close to shops and restaurants and yet quiet as it was off the main street. The hotel receptionists were very welcoming. The only gap I saw was in the kitchen area in that there was no drainer or dishwasher to let dishes dry.

We had a good stay overall. The property was very clean, and the customer service was excellent. Communication was also very good and the staff were helpful and responsive. However, the room was much too small for a family of 4. We had 4 pieces of luggage, and there was barely enough space to move around comfortably. It definitely did not feel like the room could comfortably accommodate 4 adults. The bathroom was also extremely small, with very limited space. I would recommend the property for cleanliness and service, but the room size is something to consider if you are travelling as a family or with several pieces of luggage.

Stayed in two different room because had two different legs of our trip in Madrid. Had the penthouse with terrace and an apartment with balcony. Both were very clean and well appointed. We actually had a different hotel booked for the second leg but we came straight back to this one 5 minutes after we saw the condition of the other hotel we had booked. We traveled with two small children, and the location and the room were excellent. We had no issues with noise; air conditioning worked well (it was extremely hot the days we were in Madrid, but the apartments were cool even by spoiled American standards :) ); location was perfect for the kids' first time in Madrid--easy walk to Sol past everything on Arenal. I would highly recommend this location. Also, staff was friendly and helpful.

When we first checked in, I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy the room. I think it could do with more relaxing lighting, but other than that, we loved our stay. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, the kitchenette was so useful, beds were comfy, and the bathroom was clean. The fresh coffee in the lobby was delicious. The location is very good. I’m picky about cleanliness of hotels, and felt very comfortable at New Point. Also, the room was surprisingly sound proofed from the outside noise once the window was closed.

Kitchen was functionally equipped with pots, pans, full sized fridge & freezer. Helpful full time reception desk. Excellent location. Many attractions, grocery, restaurants and shopping nearby. Mini-muffins (morning), water and coffee in lobby. Unit is functional - no fluff. Great as a base to get out see things and make a meal. Access to laundry facilities (soap incl): 5€. Downs: charging for luggage storage over 1 bag. First time I have encountered a fee for hotel baggage storage.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable for the 3 of us. A plus was the orange juice in the morning and the wine in the evening. Super close to main attractions. It might not look as safe as it is but after a few mins we felt comfortable to walk around until midnight.
