It’s a great location and not a fortune but definitely an older style, worn out feeling hotel. The room was incredibly small and bathroom even smaller. Only 1 sink and very little counter space. I couldn’t even put my makeup bag on it. It was only 1 night before flying home so we didn’t splurge but sort of regretted it. The staff took forever to check us in and we missed our $500 4 hour tour which was very unfortunate. They were training someone but please don’t do that to tourists staying 1 day in Madrid. Very disappointing

The hotel is about a 3-5 minute walk to the Prado museum and Ritero Park. This is a great location if you plan on visiting the other museums in Madrid. We were on the 3rd floor facing the traffic but the soundproof windows blocked out the noise. The breakfast was good albeit a little pricey at €25 pp.
