A lovely property with free airport shuttle and a beautiful pool. The surrounding town is easily walkable and has lots of amenities for the traveler (we walked to a nearby laundromat and were able to catch up on wash after several weeks on the road). Service is excellent. Beds are comfortable. Everything we needed for a 1 night stay between flights in and out of Madrid airport. Definitely recommend!

Staying at the Melia Madrid Barajas overnight prior to my flight was an enjoyable experience in a well maintained hotel. The lobby area was very inviting for hotel guests to take time to plan their itinerary or just to take a break from activities. The pool was large and inviting and the seating area for lounging or relaxing was excellent. The restaurant bar area off the lobby was open and well appointed. All in all it was a lovely overnight stay.

We had a quick 24 hour stay in Madrid, the stay at this hotel was great and worth the money. The hotel was clean, and pretty. From the outside I was a little skeptical that the picture did not match the hotel, but as soon as you walked in you saw it was a well maintained and beautiful facility. The staff was helpful, and suggested a great place to visit in downtown Madrid. They also have a free airport shuttle which was really helpful. If I’m ever in Madrid I would stay again.
