Property was in excellent location, walking distance to restaurants, metro and other facilities. The room was small but for the purposes to take a shower and sleep is fine. They should add at least an small refrigerator.

Das Hostal Jerez liegt genau in der Mitte der Hauptstrasse Gran Via, sodass wirklich alles an wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in drei Tagen zu Fuß erreicht werden kann, man muss nur links oder rechts runterlaufen. Das Zimmer ist extrem gut schallisoliert, sodass Außengeräusche nachts bei geschlossenem Fenster kein Problem darstellen. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig und sehr sauber, das Personal aufgeschlossen und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen u war äußerst zufrieden. Madrid ist eine Reise wert und ein wahres Einkaufsparadies zu extrem günstigen Preisen.

Posizione dell’hotel ottima, centrale. A piedi puoi girare una buona parte storica della città senza aver bisogno del metro’. Hai tutti i servizi. Il personale dell’hotel è stato molto cortese e disponibile . Sostanzialmente rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. L’unica ,superficiale considerazione pratica relativa all’organizzazione dell’hotel è quella di dover prenotare il Phon alla reception in quanto le stanza ne sono prive

Great value. You get what you pay for. Great location. Clean, relatively comfortable. Comfortable bathroom. Clean. Not much acoustics to reduce noise from drainage and other renters. Overall a good deal for your money.

Great location for a budget accomodation

The location of this hostel could not be beat - it is right in the middle of all the action in Madrid. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Adequate room and bathroom size. The shower has good water pressure. What else could you ask for a budget accommodation? Would definitely stay here again. Be aware, at this time there is construction going on Gran Via Metro station, so you will have to walk 350 meters to/from Sol station to get to this place.

Great value hostel downtown Madrid

Great value accommodation right in the center of Madrid. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will happily stay there again.

Jerez was quite a good budget option. I booked it seeing it was close to Grand Via metro stop, but the station is closed for reconstruction so if access to metro is a big thing for you, it’d be worthwhile to research to see if Grand Via has reopened.
