Hotels close to Madrid Barajas airport

Flight cancelled and had to find a hotel for the night. The hotel was conveniently located and a lovely square nearby had lots of choices of restaurants

A decent property in a convenient location

Convenient near-airport location. The building is nice generally. The room as well was generally nice, but the furniture is very dated and the mattress hard and an older spring-type. A nicer mattress would have improved my stay.

Staff was great and hotel had easy accessibility from airport! Common areas of hotel were nice, sheets very crisp and clean, but the room, overall was dated, dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor. It served the purpose for an overnight layover but do not feel confident recommending. If you arrive late and hungry, there's a kebab house just down the block open late (and it was good!)

Walkable to airport

We chose this hotel as we had an early morning flight. The walk to T1 was a good 20 minute swift but straightforward walk. Hotel was a tad tired. Bed was clean but room was well passed its best. WiFi wouldn’t connect and safe didn’t seem to work so took passports out with us for evening meal. Plenty of eateries a few minutes walk - all good value.

OK for one night.

Rooms are OK but the mattress and the pillow aren't comfortable. There is no breakfast available on site. A small espresso machine with capsules would have been nice just to have an early coffee.

The room was a fancy in the 70th , since then no change. The shower was leaking, so the water did its best to rotten the door frame , this was the reason for the bad smell…the shower sprayed in all directions, the carpet has seen better times… the location is walkable from airport.

I slept like a baby! Staff was courteous and helpful. Location is a big plus. This area is very chill. My favorite part of Madrid is this quiet Colombia. Thanks for the great hospitality!!

À éviter ... voire à fuir !

Seul avantage de cet hôtel : sa localisation à 10 minutes en taxi de l'aéroport. Pour le reste, chambre surchauffée, impossible de regler la température : il nous a fallu dormir les fenetres grandes ouvertes et subir le bruit de la rue et du bar du coin. Propreté douteuse : moquette vetuste et tachée, rideaux crasseux, odeur désagréable. Lit double composés de 2 lits simples accolés sur roulettes (ça roule !), matelas peu confortable. Accueil sommaire : il faut par exemple deviner que l'électricité de la chambre ne fonctionne qu'à l'aide de la carte magnetique de la porte. Autant dire que le petit frigo, même branché, n'est pas alimenté. Pas de prise électrique à proximité des lits. Quartier miteux. Le prix de la nuitée est abusif pour une telle chambre.

I completely ruined my chances of getting laid by my girlfriend due to staying here. There was a full wall mirror by the bed which would have been fun but my girlfriend barely wanted to take her shoes off let alone her clothes. I was terrified of seeing bugs and wanted to sleep in a full Covid suit. No coffee on site either. Boooo. Will not stay again.

TLDR - not worth it. We looked for a hotel close to the airport... BUT - the walk was inconvenient and we had to take the bus. So it didnt matter. Regarding the hotel itself - very outdated, really nothing special. If you could find something else for the same price or cheaper - go with that one.
