The location is very good, near all the sightseeing areas. The elevator only go up to the reception floor, the host helping to carry the luggage to the room. Be careful with the price on Expedia, it charged extra after confirm the booking.

Very nice hotel clean and quiet near the metro 3 minutes walk from gran villa a lot of places to eat around it’s nice to stay there if you’re not looking for luxury hotel i stay there 3 nights i went for a Real Madrid game and I enjoyed it ! Also super friendly staff on front desk very helpful !

Stay in a 1900's facility with modern services. It has an elevator, is next to metro and bus. You can get to any sites in a matter of minutes. The bed are super comfortable, linen fresh. The host is super nice ( but only speaks Spanish). We can still get any help with a few word and signs. If needed, there is service in the hostal.( Room service, sitting area, vending machines, ect) And the price per night is very affordable. Great shopping. If in Madrid again, we would stay there absolutely,

The location was great, only a few minutes from the Gran Via metro station. The cars do not come into the pedestrian street, so it is very quiet even at night. Lots of popular dining bars around. The room was compact but clean. One caution when you check in. It was difficult for us to locate this hostel because it looked very resiential and I didn't get to read the e-mail instructions as my phone was not connected. Look for the huge wooden door and ring a bell on the side to enter. Thank you!

The Hostal was very nice. The bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. It’s in the center of Madrid and is a great value for money. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it worked really well for us.

Over all good hotel

It's a decent hotel with basic facilities. While it seems a bit overpriced at £100 per night, I guess location is the main driver. Clean and tidy but a little old and dated furniture makes it some what uncomfortable.
