Great stay for our short trip to Madrid! We loved the location. Very close to metro Sol and easy to get from airport. We loved that everything was very walkable! The room was clean but just wished it was a little bigger. I believed we booked the cheapest and smaller bed (double) so the room was a little smaller and the bathroom was on smaller side, but very clean and the staff were so nice and welcoming!

Great location and value for money

We stayed at Hostal Oriente for 3 nights and we really liked it. The location was fantastic, in walking distance of everything to see in Madrid. The value for money was also excellent in comparison to other local hotels. The staff were very friendly and approachable, they asked us if we needed recommendations and answered any questions we had about our stay. Overall, we’d definitely recommend.

Staff is very nice and helpful. They gave me good recommendations about places to eat and visit. Location of hotel is excellent: Opera metro station just a few steps away and you just need to walk 5 blocks to get to the Plaza El Sol and Plaza Mayor. Hostal Oriente offers a very basic furniture setup.
