The hotel is in Chamberi a nice neighborhood. You have El Corte Inglé next door, Zara Massimo Dutti and a couple of stores. Breakfast is really good with a lot of choices. The hotel is nice.

This hotel is a great 'home base' to explore Madrid. It is right beside several grocery stores and across the street from a subway station. Taxis are plentiful and available 24/7. The front staff are multilingual, friendly, and helpful. The room is larger than many in comparable places in western Europe, and (most importantly) the AC worked very well. I would definitely stay again if I have the chance to visit Madrid. Highly recommended!

Hotel was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the check-in experience. Traveling from Panama to Spain with a 7-hour time difference, all you want after a long journey is to get into your room and rest. Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but we arrived at 2:30 PM and didn’t receive our room until around 4:20 PM. For the first 40 minutes, the staff said they couldn’t find our reservation because it had been made through Expidia. Once they located it, we were told the room still wasn’t ready. Aside from the delayed check-in, everything else was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay.
