Our group chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. There is a restaurant and we had a friendly & capable waiter & the food & drinks were good. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport and our shuttle driver was courteous and dropped us off at the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight to the US. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. We would stay in this hotel again.

I stayed in this property on my last day in Santiago de Compostela, after concluding a 12 day walk which I started on Porto, Portugal. My room, albeit small, was new, well decorated (cool contemporary clean ambiance) and well-equipped. The breakfast, which was included, was quite good as well. Location wise, you are just a few steps away from the main plaza and the heart of town, so everything is walkable and conveniently nearby.

We were extremely impressed with this hotel from start to finish. The staff were amazing; friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. They even noticed that our flight had arrived early and called us to adjust our airport pickup time, which was a great first impression. The included breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and fresh options, and the other hotel amenities were exceptional as well. Our room was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. We originally chose this hotel because of the complimentary airport shuttle, but honestly, we wish we could have stayed much longer. It turned out to be so much more than just a convenient place to stay north central of Madrid. If the location works for you, we highly recommend this hotel. We would happily stay here again!

This was my first time in Madrid for business. The property and staff were fine. The mattress in my room was very hard and uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on a wooden floor. Investing in bed toppers is a necessity and highly recommended for any hotel with subpar bedding. For this reason, I will not stay at the Amura during my return business trip.
