We had a good experience and this not your typical American style hotel. This is a small part of a residential building. There are exactly 8 rooms for 1-2 people. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and very clean. There is a small reception area with coffee, tea, water, cookies, croissants, and muffins. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave that can be used. We are a family of 2 adults and three teenagers so we had three rooms. The rooms are very reasonably priced in a great location close to the Atocha Train Station, Prado Museum, and Prague Del Retiro. The reception area is staffed only a short time each day but the email communication was good and explained how to enter the building and the hotel area. Keys are left at the desk with your last name.

Es un piso cerca de la estación de Atocha con 8 habitaciones. No hay servicio de nada. Te dan un código para abrir la puerta de abajo y la de arriba y en una mesa está tu llave preparada. Sencillo, práctico y funcional. Cama sobre cómoda con una TV y baño pequeño. Limpio y suficiente para pasar una noche.

Pas de petit déjeuner (alors qu’on peut s’y attendre en réservant un b&b) Chambre Numéro 7 donnant sur la pièce d’accueil (avec coin pr manger et faire chauffer de l’eau) très bruyant à cause de personnes non disciplinées qui mettent au micro ondes à 3h du matin…. En parlant fort… très désagréable du coup… la chambre 7 ne devrait pas exister pr laisser plus de place à la partie accueil café Le jour du départ le samedi on nous dit qu’il est impossible de laisser la valise (le train partait à 19h) donc vraiment galère de devoir prendre 2 gros bagages à partir de 14h… peu de préoccupation de la satisfaction du client (on ne cherche même pas à vous proposer qqc) Déçus par ce b&b

Aunque a la hora de llegada nuestra habitación no estaba disponible la chica de limpieza nos dejó que dejasemos alli la maleta para comenzar nuestro día por Madrid y nos hizo entrega de nuestras llaves. Al llegar a la noche todo genial, es fácil acceder a pesar de llevar 3 llaves (portal, entrada y habitación). La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada. Aunque con respecto a la limpieza nos gustaría destacar que han de ser más cuidadosos. No había nada sucio pero encontramos algunos pelos en la ducha y en el armario (2 o 3 nada brutal) y una pequeña mancha en una de las sábanas. A la mañana siguiente pudimos tomar allí mismo un cafe y un croissant ya que tienen en recepción para que tu mismo te prepares algo de desayuno, bebidas bastante completo (infusiones, cafe, cacao, cafe soluble...) y de comida sólo magdalenas y croissants del Mercadona. También tienen una fuente de agua de las típicas con la garrafa grande para agua fría y caliente y pudimos rellenar nuestras botellas para el siguiente día de turismo madrileño. En general, volvería a repetir la experiencia en este alojamiento.

Nice and central

It was perfect for a couple of nights. The location is quite central (very close to Atocha). Please note that it is located in a residential building. The is a lift but there are some stairs to reach it.
