Room was huge and clean with all necessary amenities. Restaurant downstairs was busy, but able to accommodate and the food wes great. Staff was very friendly.
Extremely friendly owners who also cook & serve at the in-house restaurant. Beautiful antiques in the room. (The house had been in the family for many years.) Clean and comfortable. Quiet location.
It was a place to lay your head. The room just gave me a weird vibe. We had the king bed. No mattress cover, the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed. The bathroom looked updated. The whole room needed a really good deep cleaning, not just a surface clean. The reviews said the restaurant down below was really good. We ate there and had the beef tip Alfredo and shrimp Alfredo. Very good portions, but the Alfredo sauce had no taste. So we were a little disappointed about that. The owners are very nice and friendly as well as our waitress. Just take note that there is no one on site 24/7 so make sure you have everything you need before the owners leave. The restaurant is only open from 4PM to 8PM.
Had a wonderful stay at the Dubois inn! The owners are very hospitable. The restaurant downstairs is open Tuesday through Saturday and they have amazing food! I highly recommend the stuffed salmon. You won’t be disappointed. They even brought the food up to the room when it was ready. The inn itself is cute and you can tell that they are still doing renovations but it was pleasantly quiet my entire stay. Other than the music from the restaurant but that wasn’t a big deal because they are only open limited hours. Overall I had a great time and would recommend it!
Truly amazing couple owned and operated. They are incredibly awesome!!! Very beautiful inn and rooms. Restaurant is excellent. Great selections and quality.
I try to stay in town while up visiting family. This was a quiet, comfortable place to stay. Watched fireworks from the veranda and had a great meal in the restaurant. I will definitely be back!
My husband and I recently stayed at DuBois Inn over the 4th of July holiday. Our stay was excellent! Everyone made us feel welcomed, we were promptly shown to our room and it felt like home! The area is quiet, great parking, easy access to our room, we didn’t want to leave! We definitely recommend staying here and plan on using DuBois Inn for future trips back to Maine!
This room is adorable, they were great and prompt about my check it. I travel a lot, it wasn't five star elegant. It felt like home, I snuggled right in and got a great night's rest. I will be back.
This was a cute quiant little place. The staff was amazing and super kind. The check in was quick and easy at 4pm and took less then 5mins. Check out was extremely easy as well and we were able to get a late checkout easily. The mattress was a little firm but still a good night sleep. They are updated their rooms, so there were a few small issues but nothing to complain about. It was an amazing room, with some amazing antique wood furniture. I loved the antique fixture and sink in our bathroom. The room even had a full size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave and a coffee maker. The fireplace was a really nice addition in our room also. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.
Nice, comfortable, clean room and bed. It's an old building, but it has had some interior renovations, which makes a huge difference. Loved the Victorian decorations and furnishings. Not sure if they have wheelchair accessible rooms, as the rooms all seemed to be upstairs. The restaurant on the ground level is accessible, though. Very friendly staff, quick check in. Overall, pleased with our stay.
The room was very clean, it had a microwave and fridge, heating was good.
However, the stairs to the second floor had ice on them when I arrived, and I had to be careful descending them. Then the snow came and the problem worsened as the snow was covered the ice.

Weird layout of room and outlets didn’t work. Towel smelled weird. Comfy bed
Nice and roomy place, comfortable king size bed. Air in room excellent with cooling on these hot days in Madawaska. Big fridge, work table, historic furniture with mable tops and fireplace. Got a fair deal by extending 2 more days. Carpets that fit the decor and 5 inch pine moldings all thought out the room. Will stay again. The big part was the quiet heat pump that provided the cool air.
