The room was adorable and had everything we needed. The lake view and lake access was wonderful! The staff were friendly and helpful. It was our favorite place we stayed on our trip!

We arrived and checked in to be notified we’d gotten an upgrade which was very pleasant, but added an extra hour to be able to check into our room from it getting cleaned as we arrived. There were minor safety concerns around the property such as electrical equipment just hanging on the wall… pool area towels were absolutely covered in bugs, even for what was protected by just a towel for partial coverage. We loved that fire pits were an option right outside the room!

We stayed here last time in the lake side rooms. It was dated but fine. Good for the value. We returned but took a court side room. They were awful. Dead spiders on the wall, lights didn't work in the room, no heat, poor plumbing. It's 30 years past an update.

This is a great little motel that is in the middle of face-lift. Our room was so nice. It was newly remodled floor to ceiling knotty pine. Beds were very comfortable. Great views of the bridge and own private beach. Can't wait to stay again.

They have recently remodeled and it is beautiful. The view was better than a lot of the big name places. It was quiet and right on the beach. I will absolutely come back and look forward to staying here again. We were on the second floor and I was more than pleased with our room, balcony and view. We got there after hours and the staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. 10/10 completely recommend

Family owned , freindly. Location of room on water was great. we had a ground floor room with covered patio overlooking Lake Huron. Individual Fire pit on grass outside the room, then sand beach with lounge chairs. Nighttime views of the lights on the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island were fabulous. Simple accomadation but comfortable

I would definitely stay there again! It’s on the water, it’s lovely. I had the added gift of seeing the fireworks over the bridge last night, which was awesome. The place was exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing that I would add is perhaps it could have a couple more racks in the bathroom to hang towels once you’ve use them for washcloths, etc. highly recommend !
