These rooms are nice and clean. The property is quiet albeit not the best maintained. The pool has a ton of sand in it and the hot tub was broken. I would definitely stay here, don’t let the bad reviews scare you away.

I'm having such a tough time to review this hotel. Location on the water was majestic. They did some nice paneling upgrades on the walls. The outside of the buildings need a deep power cleaning - tons of spiders outside on the balconies and mold on the indoor-outdoor carpeting on the porches. The rooms were clean. The lobby coffee was excellent!

The room was nice however when you moved the bed from wall it was pretty dirty behind. The wiring was messed up but the manager promptly took care of it. The location was great and Salvatore was very helpful. This was our 4th year staying at this location and has been great every time.

Stayed here this past weekend for a get away with my Husband. The room was very small, there were someone else’s dirty clothes in the dressers, the elevator shook like it was breaking down, the entire building swayed the whole time to where I felt sea sick, coffee was bad, the man at the front desk was creepy, we didn’t even get the room that was booked, any “amenities” that were offered were on the total opposite side of the property including the damn ice machine. Nothing felt or looked clean, staff was clueless and even the beach view we “had” was filthy. Trash everywhere, not maintained at all. We will never stay here again and I hope this reaches the people it needs to.

We love this hotel for the bridge view, beach, size of the King suite! Always very clean, staff is so nice. They have an elevator for those of us that are disabled and cannot walk stairs! Only bad, I wish they would power was the outside carpet covering on the balcony.

1st room smelled horrible and had broken window shade. Had to get moved to a different room on 2nd floor instead of the 1st floor room we had. Staff was helpful and friendly but hotel needs repairs and a deep cleaning

The beach needed some raking. Not enough outlets in the room. Didn't like that there were no dividers between rooms on the balcony. When in the shower if the person in the other room got in their shower and turned the water on your water went to scalding hot. Needed a garment bar to hang clothes on. The view was great .

There was moss on the stairs, the ice maker was broken, and the rooms are showing their wear. There was a king bed on a California king frame. But, the bed was comfortable and the staff were respectful.

The view of the lake was beautiful. The fridge/freezer worked well, but disgusting. The room smelled HORRIBLE. The door to the balcony had a big gap in it even when locked. I will NOT be staying here again. Sorry. The room next to us appeared to be kicked in at some point and wired shut. Trash all over the beach. Not worth the stay. Housekeepers had unattended carts parked in front of the stairs.

The room had left over crackers and an open water bottle on the table when we arrived. The shower curtain appeared to have blood on it. The sheets were stained. There was a big water leak mark on the ceiling. The hot tub was cold, the pool looked pretty gross. My teens wouldn't go in it. The best part about this hotel was that it was on the beach and the grab and go breakfast was decent.

The view from the deck was excellent. The room was clean but the lights seemed to be dim unless I put all of them on. The gym turned out to be at the Hamilton up the street and the equipment was not that great. I had trouble keeping my balance on the bizarre treadmills they have in there. Not the same quality and flat like I normally use. Wish they had an office chair in the room with wheels rather than a stationery chair.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I will start off by saying check in was terrible. We had booked a deluxe room with the extra room added onto it with a balcony, when we got there they gave us a key to a standard room with lights that didn’t even work. We went back to the front desk and told one of the employees that there was a mistake. He said that the room we were talking about was booked (even though that’s the room we had paid for and there was no one else at the hotel…) and he would upgrade us for free even though we had already paid $300+ for the deluxe room. We got to the room and immediately it smelled musty, you could tell the carpet hasn’t ever been cleaned and the water smelled like rotten eggs. The balcony was disgusting and covered in dead bugs and moss. Other than that the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked very well. Overall, we would not stay here again.
