Top little place to stay the pet friendly rooms a very good and the hotel and beach are with in easy walking distance with plenty of room to walk your pets will definitely be staying again

Room was good - floors needed a deep clean (you can see dirt on the floor tiles nearest the walls & edges of shower recess) Staff were wonderful & very helpful. Expedia doesn't mention a $100 pet bond needed to be paid upon arrival - not recieved it back yet (with absolutely no damage / accidents & its 3 days later) but will update if received in next 24hrs

Rooms comfortable but showing their age. Very conveniently attached to a venue overlooking the beach with great atmosphere and staff. Were there on a Sunday and they had awesome entertainment. Would stay again. Great addition to our trip

Perfect location right across from Lamberts Beach. Had my dog with me and he absolutely loved being able to walk right to the beach in the morning. Tavern staff were lovely and check in and out process was a breeze. While it’s a bit older, the room had all the amenities you need, was well maintained and the shower was amazing. I’ve stayed here twice now and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay away from the typical city hotel and enjoy feeling like a local

Property is greatly in need of some TCL. Rooms were clean but dated. Ground were in bad shape need a lot of worrk. Staff was good. Restaurant was better than expected. At best a 2 out of 5.

The bed was comfy and loved that there was a washing machine and dryer. We were disappointed with the aircons as they were very outdated and struggled to cool down the apartment. The food at the restaurant was excellent and so was the service as they ran an additional receipt right up to our room when we needed it. The reception service was average - not very friendly on the phone. Location of this accomodation is great!

If you travel without transport organised you are stranded. Struggle to get taxis or Ubers anywhere. Staff at the sea breeze are rude and unhelpful. If you have to stay in the area I would recommend going into Mackay.

Room was dirty. Hair in the shower. Used bandaid on the floor. PowerPoint's very loose on walls. Put sign out to clean our room midstay, but it was never done. Ran out of toilet rolls and towels. Had to go to the bar and ask barstaff for toilet rolls and towels. The guy I asked was actually very helpful. On the plus side, the water was nice and hot for showers and it was quiet at night.

Nice spot across from the beach. I really like that it's pet friendly and the tavern staff were nice and helpful. The apartment was generally quite clean but the lounge in the apartment was uncomfortable and smelt of urine (which is possibly why the fans were on full speed when we arrived). There was mould on the pipes under the sink and dog faeces left at the rear of the property. I understand and absolutely agree that guests are asked to clean up after their dogs, but if they dont do so should it then be left for the next guests to encounter? Some updates would elevate the property.

Thank you for having pet friendly apartments, its great you offer the service . A few buts, I expected each apartment to be closed off for the dogs to have an outside area to be off leash , so i was a bit tired having to get up and put leashes on and off through the night. I got into the shower there was still someones soap from a previous stay, the towel rack was a bit broken, i did inform front desk as i wasnt sure if it was meant to slide back in and sit there in position, so i just let them know. The menu was dirty and hadnt been replaced, i did get there around 730 pm so understood if the kitchen was closed.

Loved the unit we stayed in, as a mum, the washing machine and dryer were a nice Suprise to the room, as I didn’t know it had that! Enough space for the family, quiet pool area. Lights outside the room left on all night came into the room and was quite annoying (I am that person that needs complete darkness 😂) and we only had hot water on the first day, so unsure if the hot water system was broken, or if it’s shared between numerous units and we were just to slow to snag a hot shower! Rattler AC good, but noisy! Could be cleaned a little more thoroughly .. quite dusty, moved the bed to check we hadn’t lost anything underneath and there was a lot of hair balls with dust .. so I don’t think it ever gets moved. Pub is great! Thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk 30m to get a drink and a meal, look over at the water. Would definitely stay again. As a whole, we enjoyed our time here and would return.

We chose this property because it was close to the beach and had a pool. When we arrived there was a sign on the pool fence saying it was out of order, this was not mentioned to us at check-in. Our room was smelly, smelled of dog (the place is pet-friendly!!), the floors were sticky and clearly dirty (something I discovered after I saw the black on my feet after walking barefoot from the bathroom to the bedroom. The bed was terrible, sagging in the middle which caused my partner and I to roll into each other, the pillows were old and lumpy and flat and caused me to wake with a sore neck. There was no hairdryer in the room, something that was of great inconvenience for someone with long hair. In a room for two there was only one chair at the dining table. Overall it was a very unpleasant stay, a terrible night's sleep and a great disappointment. Won't be back.
