🚨 WARNING: Fraudulent Charges at Checkout / Double BilledRating: )I traveled all the way from New York based on the positive reviews for this hotel, While the breakfast was good and the room looked mostly clean (aside from seeing a big fat roach), the front desk operations and management are engaged in deceptive, fraudulent financial practices.I pre-paid for my entire stay through Expedia two months in advance. Despite this, the moment I checked out early at 9:47 AM (well before the official 11:00 AM checkout time), the hotel immediately bypassed my authorized $150 incidental hold and began running multiple unauthorized transactions on my card. They started charging my account for the full amount of the stay again, alongside bizarre, random amounts like $20, $39.55, and $35.All of these transactions were forced through before staff could have even legally or properly inspected the room. After realizing what was happening, I had to file a police report. Once the police physically showed up at the property to investigate, the hotel suddenly scrambled to change their story, claiming the random charges were for "damaged towels" because of makeup. Normal makeup on a towel during a hotel stay is a standard laundry issue, not "destroyed property" that justifies draining a guest's bank account with random, unauthorized charges.To make matters worse, the front desk service sucks. anytime I attempt to call the property it just disconnects. We love the locations for shopping at Southlake and Grapevine and the food at the Sky Kitchen is great! We love the pool area and always enjoy staying at the Delta.
