Not a pleasant experience for a 4 star hotel.

When we book the hotel, we were excited to experience and explore the areas because of the hotel structure & history, the surrounding areas, and its close proximity to Maastricht. The hotel is a 4 star and I guess are expectations are high. As we book the rooms via Hotel.coms, we were given a Basement Room, which was okay on size and decor, however, the rooms were too cold even without Aircon, the toilet was not part of the shower but designed in an enclosed built in type, that one who is claustrophobic would not like to use. The service was not that particularly good, missing towels, toilets paper and etc. Overall the experience was not that pleasant for my family and would probably prefer to find other hotel nearby Maastricht.

Wij hebben 1 nacht in het hotel geslapen. Het was netjes en schoon en de medewerkers waren vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was goed met voldoende keuze en verse producten. De omgeving is heel divers. Zowel natuur als winkels, een bioscoop etc. Zeker een aanrader!

We hadden een kamer geboekt met tuinzicht. Een verzorgde kamer, maar niet zo een frisse geur. We constateerden dat de verwarmingsknop in de douche niet werkte (de beveiligingsknop was afgebroken én de knop draaide gewoon 360 graden rond). Een ijskoude douche dus. Ondanks dat het al laat was, heeft de bewaking ons een andere kamer bezorgd. Dit was een familiekamer, zonder meerprijs. Ook daar was de beveiligingsknop aan vervanging toe, maar gelukkig kon deze wel gewoon warm gedraaid worden. Een mooie, verzorgde kamer (spijtig genoeg zonder tuinzicht, maar de grootte van de kamer en de voorzieningen maakten dit meer dan goed). Verder weinig last gehad van geluid. We hebben geen ontbijt geboekt.

Heel comfortabel hotel. Personeel is ook vriendelijk. Bedden zijn comfortabel. Alleen dun dekbed voor deze koude winterdagen. Kamer was in souterrain en dichtbij toilet. Als je kamer uitliep kwam de nare toiletgeur tegenmoet. Dat was voor mij een minpunt. Maar voor rest is het een heerlijk hotel. Ik kom zeker weer terug.

Comfortabele kamer en prachtige omgeving. Zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt. Nu is parking betalend (10 euro per nacht). Best veel. Dit is nergens aangekondigd. Dit mag best op de website staan. Ook de verlichting aan de buitentrap is onvoldoende. Best gevaarlijk als je in het donker aankomt. Een super verblijf gehad.

Heel mooi hotel en ideaal gelegen. De combinatie met Elaisa Wellness en Maasmechelen Village is super. Kamer was mooi en verzorgd, lekker gegeten in het restaurant en het ontbijt was super. Ook heel vriendelijk personeel. Een aanrader!
