Vacations Close To MUHBA at Fabra i Coats

Fitness center was adequate. The weight bench seat only had one of 3 fastening screws in place. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff. One treadmill available. The highlight was the breakfast. Many food options. There was a lady named Alejandra who was super hardworking at the breakfast buffet area. She was always running around working, cleaning, refilling things, etc. She deserves a raise! Would stay again. Room was ok. The walls are a little thin. Decent shower and bathroom.

This hotel is so well-located that it is hard to beat. It really is in the center of Barcelona. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was outstanding.

Upon arrival the staff was very accommodating. We completed our check-in and spent the day in Barcelona. Upon returning to the hotel 8 hours later, we asked for our room keys and our suitcases to be sent to our room. The first impression when we walked into our room was that it was a good size ( 3 of us traveling together). We all used the bathroom which was clean and sat on the bed to relax for a minute. I went into the vanity area to wash my hands a looked down to a piece of broken glass which initially upset me since I was barefoot at the time. The glass removed my attention from the grossly rusty waterfall faucets. When I walked into the area where the beds were located, I bent over to grab my sandals and noticed that the pleather at bottom of the bed looked as if it had been chewed by dogs all the way around!!! To add to everything we couldn’t get the tv to work as another patron was still logged on! Finally it was time to check out and we took our luggage to reception because the online checkout was not working. Waited in line with everyone checking in for a half an hour to check out in 30 seconds. Totally disappointed! Luckily Barcelona was way more impressive and that will override the experience at the hotel!!!!

The rooftop was closed it wasn’t advertised when booked. The description on Expedia doesn’t portray the actual look of the hotel. The hotel renovation that are being done may be the outcome of the hotel. The 2 Fire alarms one in the afternoon and 1 at 5:00 AM was very frightening. That being said I would stay there again. Quiet, clean and good location.
