Issue - although my fault because I have not understood that private bathroom meant separate. I slept really well though. Other bugbear - WIFI it’s useless and I am very glad I wasn’t visiting for work. However, the Bull was friendly, inexpensive and I slept well.”

“Stayed one night at the Shrewsbury rooms from start to finish everything was great we stayed in room one on ground floor well the decor the cleanliness everything was lovely would definitely stay here again. Nice little touch of takeaway cups if you want to leave with a coffee lived this. Only thing is the pillows where a little to firm for me. “The staff were fabulous, both leading up to our stay when they helped me with some surprises for my friend, and during our stay when nothing was too much trouble! I was able to order an extra package of fizz and flowers, which were placed in one of our rooms upon arrival, together with the banner that I sent ahead. THANKS”

“Beautiful grounds on arrival and very impressed. Unfortunately, receptionist was very condescending because we had booked through expedia therefore no fee spa access! We weren't told where anything was or what we had to do for breakfast or how to get to our room!! Room was a distance away and smelt a bit, but lovely comfortable bed and massive shower. We used the bar for food but really not impressed! One of the dishes tasted funny, and we found out it had been fried in hazelnut oil which was...

“The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places.”
