Room service breakfast expensive (28E) but very complete and perfectly on time. Staff was always friendly and attentive. Location conveniently central. Eating in area was largely fast-food of low quality. Bicycles and trotinettes made walking frequently unnerving.

The location was very central and ideal for what we wanted to do - restaurants, shops and transport to museums all very close by. Breakfast was very good, rooms and bathrooms were a generous size and very clean. There is one lift though which can get busy, and staying over the weekend with a room overlooking the main square meant it was noisy with the windows open, but to be expected for a central location and a lovely characterful building. Good value for money in general.

We had a narrow balcony area that wrapped around the corner between bedroom and bath. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was very nice. They had an antique type elevator that added charm to the property. The bar area was ok and did stay open until midnight which was nice. They do not have a restaurant on site but there were many restaurants within walking distance. Overall, I really liked this hotel’s location.

Lovely hotel in perfect location, the room was spacious and comfortable. Great location for shopping and access to the underground with easy walking distance to wonderful restaurants. Our only concern was that a member of staff entered our room at 6 pm after we had been shopping on the last day, they saw we were in and quickly scurried away. We raised this by email with the hotel but have had no reply.

Excellent seven-day stay

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in a lifetime of business travel. The property is in excellent condition and the room is kept impeccably clean. All of the nice amenities are there as you would expect with a four-star hotel. I highly recommend it.
