Would recommend!

We had a short and sweet stay for a rugby world cup weekend. The hotel is a little further out but only around 30 minute drive to the centre (or a €25 uber), and it was nice to be out of the chaos! The hotel and rooms are beautiful, the pool area is gorgeous and the lobby is nicely set out so you can comfortably use it as a communal area. The lunch buffet was a little expensive but otherwise very happy!

Didn’t feel like the room was cleaned properly. Many hair in bathrooms and on the robes. Staff wasn’t welcoming nor very pleasant the second night. The restaurant buffet though was very nice high quality foods and nice service. The access to pool and spa opens way too late at 10am and closes way too early at 8pm for people who work…

A wonderful stay.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. It’s a fabulous location. Offers a fabulous breakfast selection. And the restaurant had a great menu. The hotel has a great bar/lounge area. There’s a mini gym and massage/relax area and they offer yoga too. They had an easy to get to boot room. They have a garage (extra) if needed & available but also free parking out front. We highly recommend staying here. Will definitely stay again.

Overall it was great! I would only suggest that a Hotel like this should keep a dinner option better than frozen pizza during their summer vacations... it was terrible!

We'd certainly recommend considering this hotel

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel during our trip to France, and it truly left a positive impression on us. The service at this hotel was exceptional, and the night manager, in particular, stood out with his attentive and helpful approach. His personal touch added a warm and welcoming atmosphere to our stay. The rooms were beautiful and cozy, blending classic design with modern amenities. Our accommodation was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a day of driving. The breakfast offered at the hotel was quite impressive, featuring a variety of options that catered to different tastes. The spread was generous, including fresh pastries, local cheeses, and a selection of meats, fruits and much more. It was a great way to start our days and set a positive tone for our adventures. All in all, this hotel provided us with one of the best hotel experiences during our time in France. The combination of attentive service, comfortable rooms, and a delightful breakfast made our stay memorable. If you're looking for a charming and cozy place to stay in France, we'd certainly recommend considering this hotel.

I reserved a room (through Expedia) for Thursday, September 24. Was charged for a room on Friday, August 22, when I wasn't even in France. I've messaged the hotel twice (once in English, once in French) on consecutive days this week and have not heard back from anyone. I've contacted my credit card to reverse the charges. Had thought we might still stay with The Golden Tulip on our regularly scheduled date but am reconsidering that.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
My stay was fully pre-paid via Expedia, yet the front desk processed an unauthorized charge of over £100 at check-in. Staff promised it would be reversed at check-out, but the funds were retained despite us incurring zero incidentals. Management is now completely ignoring all emails and phone calls to evade accountability for this unauthorized transaction. Deceptive billing and unacceptable customer service - immediate refund required.
