Outside pictures of the property do not reflect those shown on here. The outside is rundown looking. You can hear the highway traffic. The room itself was decent and worked as I only had to stay one night but the door would make noises if the wind picked up and did not sound like it was closed. I’d look for another place to stay if I travel this way again.

The motel is dated but clean and comfortable. We had stayed in larger cities and expensive hotels on this trip but agreed the bed at The Colonnade was more comfortable and we had a restful nights sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful.

this was a good surprise, given the price is half of the other comparable major chains of 'inns'. friendly check in, clean room, comfy bed. all the basics for an overnight stay at the base of the white mountains.
