“Great location. Staff were friendly, polite, helpful. Breakfast was nice. There’s a nice garden to relax with a drink or a bite to eat after a long day exploring the area. The only downside was the air conditioning had broken down but every room was supplied with a fan so it wasn’t a massive issue and the hotel was doing their best to fix it We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again”

“From the start my honest opinion Staff were very welcoming and helpful Food was doscusting dot eat there walk 2 minutes around the corner and grab something decent we ordered starters was cold Main course took 50 minutes to arrive and only because we reminded the staff we hadn’t received it strangely it then came 1 minute after obviously it was stood there waiting my meal was freezing and dry it was the mixed grill my wife had gammon it as raw in the middle I will upload a picture So fancied a...

“Off street parking was very reassuring, friendly welcoming staff, great food and a really good room to relax/ sleep.”

“We had a bit of a rude welcome but this was rectified the following day at breakfast. A well placed property with a good breakfast. The bathroom was a little tired and the beds were comfortable.”

“Lovely New Forest pub. Very friendly atmosphere. Large clean room, comfy bed, modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Big breakfast, varied evening meals and excellent beer. New Forest ponies on the green and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's grave two minutes up the road! Excellent value. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks.”
