Amazing flat with the best terrace ever. If you don’t get good weather, it’s a bit disappointing that you can’t enjoy the outside space.
The flat is warm, spacious with good kitchen equipment. The rooms are comfortable, as is the lounge. The shower is great and nice shower towels too. Remember it is self catering, so things like shampoo and bath soap are required, as is more than 1 toilet roll if you are staying several days. There are oven gloves and 1 tea towel but you need to bring your own bathroom and Kitchen HAND towels. You also need your own beach and swimming towels. A few dishwasher pods are useful to bring and washing powder if you need to use the machine. It does smell musty but all inter grated washers tend to smell a little as dark and damp never gel well.
The TV has loads of channels but if you watch I-player the movies tend to lag a little which can be annoying, but internet in Lyme Regis can be challenging.
On our visit, the bathroom cold tap was unpredictable, from an ok flow to hardly a trickle that you could neither wash your hands or brush your teeth with. I messaged lymebayholidays and they sent a guy around within 3 hours. When he arrived, the water flow was fine, so deemed ok. Later it reverted back to a trickle but we made do.
This is an amazing flat in a traditional old building, so don’t expect high end, high tech luxury. It is as you see advertised and the outdoor furniture has nice cushions stored in a plastic trunk. Rec read the Info Files.
