The hotel was well situated, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, one downside was the experience with the shops in the hotel-some of the shop workers were quite aggressive in trying to sell their products, which made us uncomfortable at times and wanted to avoid using the facilities. A little more space to browse freely would have made the experience much better.

Our stay was magnificent. We arrived early from our flight, and they accommodated us immediately with a room, even before the check-in time. The breakfast and restaurants were really good. At checkout, they allowed us to stay longer at no extra charge before our flight back. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and located in a beautiful area. I definitely recommend staying here!

I highly recommend this property. We were originally booked at an alternative property in Cairo, but we quickly left and looked for an alternative. The Steigenberger was incredible. Honestly, it saved our trip and the second we walked into our room, we breathed a sigh of relief. This property was clean, modern, and just fantastic. Grateful they had last-minute availability and that we could stay there.

Truly outstanding staff at this hotel. Great variety of restaurants on site and the river jetty on site is extremely convenient for hiring boats for a cruise or to cross the river to the West bank. We arrived early on a flight to Cairo and left on a later flight and the staff was extremely helpful in accommodating an early checkin and late checkout. Transportation and guides are very easy to obtain both with the help of the hotel and without. The rooms and pool area are spotless and the location on the Nile is superb.

WOW....just wow for this place. We arrived late at 2:00 AM and we told the manager on duty that we had an early tour the next morning at 5:30 am. When we arrived at the front desk, he had two breakfast kits to go prepared for us. Incredible service. The room was spectacular and the view was just as good. The beautiful Miranda was close to her birthday so she got special treatment from all the staff. The Thai restaurant was delicious and they reserved a special outdoor table for us. We were really impressed with our short stay at the hotel. It is a quick taxi ride to downtown Luxor. The hotel also has very good dining options in multiple restaurants both indoor and outdoor. Sunset from the outdoor restaurant is wonderful.

As a solo traveler, this hotel was my safe haven. The Nile view room was worth every penny. Incredible view, big room, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well kept and up-to-date. Welcoming service, easy and efficient check in. The food was fantastic with great selection. The only small recommendation I have is I wish they provided more complimentary bottled water, although that is very minor. Overall highly recommend this hotel while in Luxor.
